*most* of the foods people eat are unsafe. If people weren’t eating it 200 years ago, if it contains ingredients that aren’t naturally available to you, if it requires special machinery and factories to make, it’s not good for you. Did you know Kraft and nabisco are owned by Phillip Morris? Big tobacco transitioned to food long ago. It’s all about getting the masses addicted and making money. If every person who snacks skipped just one snack a day, food sales would go down 7%. These products are not vetted properly, and the neglect is intentional
@Nikkinitelite3 ай бұрын
Ultra palatable foods are foods with additives that are only necessary for enhancing taste or masking unpleasant flavors that occur from their manufacturing processes. Corn flakes contain a lot of salt. This question was raised by someone once, why they can’t just take the salt out so they made him a corn flake with no salt. It tasted like metals. Salt, sugar, fats are added into products to make them tasty to us, to get us wanting, craving, and addicted, even when it has negative affects on our body. An old CEO from big tobacco said he was lucky that he could smoke for show and not be completely addicted, he could have one a day and put them down, not a second thought. But he lost all control if he had any kind of Oreos in his house. That will tell you something

As a 31 yo woman I have tried only twice tampons. I've always been VERY paranoid about tampons anyway. Because when wearing a tampon or menstrual cup, blood stagnates in the vagina. This creates a highly favorable environment for the multiplication of staphylococcus . This bacterium secretes a toxin which spreads through the bloodstream, causing TOXIC SHOCK. However, pads are a lot safer and you less need to worry as long as you change every 4 hours or so depending on the blood flow.

As much as we don't like it, tampons are unhegienic in general, use organic pads, the best option for womens health!

I wear pads and seriously with all of the dangerous chemicals people put into basically everything these days, I worry for my menstrual pads.. 😢

What about pads? Is it safe?

No. Use the washable reusable cotton pads, period panties and diva cups.

I've been using those reusable cloth Cariona pads for years now. They're made with bamboo/charcoal fibers and are so absorbent that I only had to change them twice a day with heavy flow. My period pain had diminished noticably by doing so, and when I tried on a regular Always pad again, it literally burned down there. Burned. Couldn't even keep it on for a minute. Regular pads aren't safe either- it's not just tampons. We've already been knew that regular pads are toxic, why is everyone so surprised? It's awful, but not surprising. This is probably why reproductive cancer rates have been so high for women below 30 in the past few decades...

I’m stranded in California and I’ve been intentionally poisoned with this substance so many times by a group of men when I tried going to the hospital for help they called me delusional and mentally ill… now I’m having issues if anyone knows how I can help myself please reply. Thank you

Contact your congress representative and tell them what happened. I got nerve damage from using a FDA approved product. I complained to the FDA but they don't care. Also try to find a class action lawsuit, if there is one.

If there were contaminants found in the blue pill, they would fix it immediately. But, apparently research for tampons isn’t important enough due to social stigmas. Sounds like immaturity and complacency to me.

Maybe just period panties at your point are the way to go? Literally nothing is safe. And they're doing the same thing they did when they found forever chemicals in makeup- not naming the brands and I just fInd that SO OBNOXIOUS.

I’ve never used tampons because I’ve always felt it’s unsafe to allow your body absorb the chemicals used to make the tampons. Even with pads, I would go out of my way and purchase 100% cotton made, organic if possible. Always suspect the products placed out on the shelves lack a layer of testing.
@UnboxCraftyMagic3 ай бұрын
I never use tampons anyway 🤔 at least I know I am ok. While in general I don’t trust anything many years ago so I was suspecting that.

Yes!!! As a woman who's about middle aged the switch was two years ago and the struggle was real but after about 2 cycles I had it down and will never go back. Sad thing is that they're not as mainstream as you'd think So I yell it from the rooftops and any female friend I have I tell them about diva cups because if I didn't know maybe others don't either.
