I was listening to the testimony of a father of the convicted defendant in a rather publicized case today and the defense asked him if he'd ever told his son he was proud of him. The father answered no. It's refreshing how you're always telling your son that you're proud of him. We don't always know why some can go through difficult times and deal with it better than others, but the number one factor they have found that helps children build resilience is that they have one person in their life that they know truly cares about them.

I just can’t get over how much these people text when they have to know what law enforcement is going to subpoena their phone. It never fails to amaze me. I’ve been watching a lot of trials since my job transitioned to work from home during the pandemic and I’m now permanently working from home. I listen to trials while I work and I’ve learned so much about the justice system. It’s so interesting. I wish I had gone to law school when I was younger, but now I’m in my early 50’s and I’m closer to retirement than I am starting my career. Going back to school to get law degree would be expensive and time consuming. I’m putting my own daughter through college right now and that’s expensive enough. 😉

Best legal channel on YT…thanks Bruce & Son. Two young adults were executed in cold blood, that type of crime is categorised as heinous. After seeing the prosecution’s evidence only two questions remain for the defence, should we proceed with fantasy scenarios that it wasn’t Melly’s phone and he wasn’t in the car or do we plead guilty to remove the death penalty from the table. Defence Lawyers MUST converse with their client on how their defence case is stacking up against the prosecution during the trial, in a death penalty case where the clients lack of answers points to their guilt then the defence MUST convince the client to plead guilty for a lessor sentence. I truly believe the defence will not proceed on Monday and enter a plea deal. This case is over, if Melly gets the DP the blame will rest squarely at the feet of the defence attorneys.

I'm certain in your defending your clients you give them your tried and true life advice. Your trip sounds fantastic! Back in the late 1940's and '50's, my grandparents had traded their Indian motorcycles for this new bike called Harley Davidson. They purchased twin Harleys, fully decked, complete with a trailer and of course the outfits! They were in their 50's and, of course, were one of the first to descend upon Sturgis. In the late '50's, they sold one of the bikes as they no longer went to Sturgis as it was getting a little rough. Fast forward to the late 1980's and my grandfather had long since passed, but my grandmother kept the Harley, clean, waxed, air in the tires, looking brand new. We moved her to our town and she decided to sell the bike. I had a buyer for the bike, but she was so thrilled that she had already sold it for $1,800! Excited as she got what they paid for it years ago... I don't have to tell you what that bike was worth in pristine condition! Ya gotta love her!❤😊 Have a great time and send some pictures!

One of my best friends got decapitated. He had saved his self from a deadly wreck but he got that "damn I bout died" feeling, looked back at us and ran right under a semi trailer. He tried to duck but was going to fast and it took his head off and neck. Bro we went from holy shit he pulled that off to one of the most grizzly things I've ever seen. We had just survived a yearlong deployment from Iraq which made it that more gut wrenching. This was 2006 and I have just as much PTSD from that as I do from 3 deployments.

Never use Texts if your doing nefarious things. A judge told me its like writing a note on a paper that never gets deleted. Its much harder to get a wire "tap" then subpoena texts. There is case law pending moving to the Supreme Court about its usage in a court of law due to different statutes.

First of all, thank you and your son for all your hard work. Secondly, I was just recently on a cruise and had my phone on airplane mode the entire trip. When I arrived home after a week, my phone knew exactly where and when I was in certain countries. If you are doing something wrong, your phone is your worst enemy.
