@@rohanshah7559we saw the rashomon gates vary in terms of defense. Orochimaru summonded 3-4 and tanked Naruto’s 4 tailed mode tailed beast bomb while Hashirama summoned more and could tank the ten tails’ bombs. Maybe these ones were even weaker than Orochimaru’s.

Also in the times we see it used blatant piercing attacks have always done more damage than aoe attacks like the massive tailed beast bombs. So it might be that the jutsu is better for large scale strikes in general. Which would make sense that Kiba's jutsu is stronger than Sakon and Ukon since he's now stronger than they are + fang over fang is a repeated piercing attack. So he and akamaru can funnel through the weak point they make on contact. Remember they blatantly rushed through 10 tail fodder with legitimately no resistance either.

I also think part of it was the change of terrain. The last time they fought it was up in the branches of trees so it was harder to reach her and her summons directly with his shadows since he couldn't reach over the gaps yet. This time they're fighting on flat ground.

It's weird to think that Choji had the most decisive win of all of them in the Sasuke retrieval arc. Only he and Neji won their fights on their own, and Neji almost died because of wounds inflicted by the enemy. Choji almost died too, but because he pushed himself too far, not because Jirobo damaged him that badly. Never really thought about that before, but it clicked as I was watching these and realized that his scene was the least satisfying because it was just a more decisive version of what had already happened.
