Yes, almost all of the Worlds song AMVs feature the likenesses of real pro players. In fact, Faker (the universally regarded greatest player of all time) appears in all 3 of these videos: as the "final boss" mage in RISE, as the player of "Karma", the mage character, in Phoenix, and on the billboard at the opening of Burn It All Down

They are not only real players, they are THE players. The best of the best, the fan favourites, e-sports idols. The ones you get super pumped aboout watching compete for the title, the ones that make whole stadiums roar up when they walk on stage. Ok maybe Im fanboying a little bit but you get the point :D These worlds songs are a real highlight every year. Not only is the production value extremely high and the song always a banger but it also gets you really excited for the upcoming competition. So now you know what to look forward to in 2022 ^^ Also Warriors, Legends never die and Take over are great worlds songs from other years.

Riot's Art, Animation & Music department all deserve a raise after carrying the company for years and years. They've always exceeded expectations. And to answer the question about whether or not the people were actors or actually players: Throughout the videos, those wearing team shirts/outfits are in fact actual players from the world tournaments. One of the more memorable people being the player Faker. A legend amongst the League of Legends competitive stage. He's the person that holds the Tome in the first video turning into the champion Ryze at 3:00. Most people are depicted using weapons/moves from champions they are well known for playing during the tournaments.

Hey, thanks for reacting to these masterpieces! Especially RISE is my all time favourite because of the song itself and the best music video in my opinion. I see that someone told you about te details but i want to tell you more about it. So at the begining at 0:44 there is the flag with the logo of the world championship, also the torn flags of the defeated teams with weapons of the champions like Fiora's sword 0:57 The main character is the player "Ambition" and Jungler of the team Samsung Galaxy who won this tournament with his team later 1:00 He picks up the weapons of the champions he played in the tournament: the claws from Kha'Zix, 1:04 the flail from Sejuani, 1:05 the lance from Jarvan IV 1:29 He encounters and defeats the player Perkz (Midlaner for the team G2) who played the champion Yasuo 1:52 In the background you can see the champions Kha'Zix (left) and Yasuo (right) 1:56 The thunder shuriken of the champion Kennen 1:59 The champion Thresh 2:06 Championship Ashe skin statue (left) with turrets 2:11 The champion Olaf 2:16 The next enemy is the player UZI (ADC of the team RNG) and my favourite player. Because of serious health issues he retired after 8 years in pro play on june 2nd, 2020. He really wants to come back and he may hopefully be back in 2022! He was also such high skilled that many people thought that he was the best player for his role or even tied with Faker as the best player. In this video he represents the champion Vayne, also his best champion. *UZI hits Ambtion's glasses, meaning Ambition lost every game against him during the tournament but UZI and his team gets eleminated by the team SKT later* 2:34 Ambition as Sejuani 2:36 Ambition keeps fighting, being in the finals after the win over Team WE, despite getting out of the Fight with UZI?? 2:38 The skin "Championship Zed" of the champion Zed in the background (Riot Games releases a special Championship Skin for Worlds every year) 2:41 Left: Samsung Galaxy White Talon skin? (There were 2 Samsung Galaxy Teams before. White and Blue until they both disbanded and one team was formed: Samsung Galaxy). Samsung White won Worlds 2014 2:44 The Samsung Galaxy skins of the champions Ezreal, Gnar, Xayah, Rakan and Taliyah (Each player who won Worlds choses one champion that gets a Worlds skin in the colors/theme of the team. The skins come out in the next year when the next Worlds starts. Ambition chose Taliyah) 2:53 Ambition reaches the final arena with statues which are holding the team logos of the previous world championship winners (On the left: Season 2 Taiwanese Team Taipei Assassins, on the right: Season 1 European Team Fnatic) 3:00 Ambition encounters Faker, his long time rival and the most famous player. Faker reads the magic book and carries the giant scroll of the champion Ryze which is one of his signature champions 3:03 Faker is the longest member and star player of team SKT (SK telecom, rebranded to T1 in 2019) which is also the most famous team in LoL because of him and three championship titles (2013, 2015 & 2016). He took part in every of them and is still in the team 3:05 The tournament final begins. Faker's Ryze vs Ambition's Jarvan 3:12 Faker roots Ambition with Ryze's "Rune Prison" 3:15 Ambition uses Jarvan's "Golden Aegis" and shields himself 3:27 Ambition uses "Demacian Standard" and throws the lance to Faker, jumps to him in the air with "Dragon Strike" and finishing him with the ultimate ability "Cataclysm", smashing the lance on him into the ground 3:37 Ambition stands up as the winner of Worlds 2017, taking off SKT from the throne when the team logo gets engraved into the statue. The left and right statue holds the logo of SKT due the wins in the previous years 2015 & 2016 3:45 Left: Player of russian team Gambit carries Darius' Battleaxe 3:48 Left: Season 2 "Championship Riven" Skin with her Sword in the background, Left: Player carries Jax's Lantern, Middle: Player carries ??? Right: Player carries Kalista's Speer 3:51 Left: Player carries Shen's Swords? Right: Player SwordArt of Team Flashwolves Left: Team Liquid's Player Doublelift carries Jinx's Rocket Launcher Right: Player of Fnatic carries Fiora's Sword 4:04 2018: The next year later after the loss on Worlds, UZI wakes up, being the MVP in LPL ("League of Legends Pro League" in his home region China) and the potential winner of Worlds 2018

In agreement here, RISE is my favorite as well. As a long time watcher of LCK, the first team I ever followed was Azubu Frost. The Frost sister team, Azubu Blaze, was essentially where his career began(originally MiG Blaze, but rebranded as Azubu). For many years Ambition was considered one of the best Mid laners in Korea, and thus the world. As the years passed, he was unable to find the success on the world stage that many people anticipated early in his career. As his star faded, he switched positions from Mid lane(a more prominent Carry position) to Jungle(a more support oriented position, though it can completely change the complexion of a match if played well.) After joining Samsung Galaxy, he embraced this new role and settled into more of a mentor role for his younger teammates, providing a steadying presence. Drawing heavily on his experience and calm demeanor, he became the back bone of the team, and led them to back to back world championship finals. SK Telecom, led by the "un-killable demon king" Faker at the height of his powers, was their opponent both years. In 2016 the match up went to 5 games, with SKT emerging victorious 3:2. SKT were the heavy favorites in 2017, having won 3 of the last 4 world titles, and turning in a dominant performance in the 2017 LCK spring split as well as winning the Mid-Season Invitational tournament. Despite this, Samsung swept the juggernaut 3:0 and Ambition was finally a world champion. This video is not only meant to chronicle Ambitions journey through the 2017 world championships, but his career as well. He fought for many years to reach the summit of the sport, and finally did so. I was never a huge Ambition fan, but this is a tale of triumph after being humbled by years of failure. Who doesn't like a feel good story?

Im not sure how familiar you guys are with League of Legends (and if you are I apologize in advance). I play the game and watch the tourneys sometimes. The trailers were basically the top players of the game. The first trailer were a few players which used the weapons of some of their preferred league champions. At the end of the first trailer, the kid with the glasses and the book - that was a representation of 'Faker', the best League player, ever. And Im not exaggerating when I say he's AMAZING. His reaction time is in the split-second, bordering on the superhuman, and watching him play (if you understand the game) is quite literally EXHILARATING. For a regular player to kill him in game is considered a great honour and worthy of bragging rights. He is the one who stands at the highest peak. In game, he's approached with EXTREME caution, or just not at all. His title is the "Unkillable Demon King" (no kidding, google it) - and I assure you, it's well deserved. Here's a clip of one of his all time most famous plays - if you dont play the game, youll have no idea what just happened lol, but there's a little explainer afterwards. Even if you don't understand what's happening, the reactions of the announcers are enough to tell you how good he is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWnZeJR5abSNf9U

Great Reaction! Basically all those people you saw were pro league of legends players from different teams using the characters they use in the game called "champions" which is how it is for almost every worlds video🤘 Also neat little tidbit of info, at the beginning you can see Showmaker looking up at digital board of Faker the "Eternal King of the LCK" from the last video u react to. I take this as Faker still being one of the greatest players in League's history, and that everyone in this video is striving to be like or better than him. His reputation is legendary.

If you were wondering, the video is (kind of) a recreation of worlds 2020, the guy at the start looking up at faker is showmaker, who won the tournament and is considered the best player in the world right now, trying to live up to the expectations of being "the next faker". The one he was fighting at first was chovy, who he beat in the quarter finals, also considered one of the best players in the world and trying to live up to that reputation, but sadly wasnt able to. The other two featured are rekkles (blond) and jackeylove (hoodie), who played each other in quarters and are similarly trying to prove themseves after jackeylove beat rekkles at world finals 2018, jackeylove trying to regain his crown and rekkles to rise up to his level.

idk if anyone has explained it, but the RIse! video is depicting the struggle of ranked climbing and all the weapons they had were the champions they used to climb said "ladder" the guy at the end is considered the best league player in the world by the in game name Faker, the second video, yeah they are actual players, who are also very good players, top of the top, second video really just depicts how the game can really take its toll and you, how you will always struggle with your own belief " am i good enough to be here?" so on, last video "burn it all down" is explaining that theres no 1 great player, all are great in their own fields and champions, and the best way to practise is with your Frenemies

The first clip you saw was about Ambition (former LoL pro player) he was pretty much best Korea (and probably world) player but Faker (kid with the book in the end) "one day" appeared and kinda overtook his place. Fakers team dominated several world championships in a row and RISE is about Ambition overcoming obstacles and claiming once more his spot on top
@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames3 жыл бұрын
So these comment on the previous Worlds? Like the 2020 one comments on 2019? 🤔
@marekschnaubert3 жыл бұрын
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Not exactly. Every worlds song video has story on its own. I have explained RISE earlier but if you look for instance on this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZOxfWyQrqdnb8U which was made for 2020 worlds. It is pretty much about new kid learning and improving himself, learning from mistakes and getting better (under the surveillance of FAKER - I have meantioned him earlier, he was probably worlds best player then he fell off. He is still competing on worlds level but he is not the best). That is because on worlds 2020 was so many "new players" (ofc not new to the game) but more like fresh faces teams with players most people don't know much about and they performed very well.

Do they watch these without sound ? I don't see any Earplugs or something alike, the sound quality seems to good to be recorded together with their voice. Also, Bethany, kinda looks and talks a lot like Pam from The Office, cool.

Yeah so everyone's said what i wanted to say already sooo...... As always great video! Riot games is making a Fighting game the entire FGC is excited about this one. it'll be with the characters from LoL. They released a video with how far they are and their ideas in making this game. For now it's called Project L perhaps a video worth reacting to? might be a bit too technical and game mechanics specific... who knows

i know thiis old and not sure if you read this or was told this, the reason faker is so loved as he has beat the odds. 1. he is 26 which is old for a esports champ to still be playing and winning. he has won worlds 3 times, won the all-stars in paris, the mid season twice and iem championship. meaning for his worlds wins he has three skin modeled after him. plus he is now part owner of his own team!
