Some trivia - 1st guy on billboard they paid homage to is 'Faker' of SKT1 - considered the absolute GOAT, guy every pro player aspired to be as good as - to the point some players made it a highlight of their carriers to even been able to compete, let alone score a solo kill/win against him. Now he isn't as good in comparison to some newer names, but he is still one of the longest going pro players that managed to stay at the very top of the competition since becoming a pro. Think a Jordan/Kobe of LoL. Other players depicted in the video are either some winners/finalists of Worlds Championships etc, all unique and standing out with their prowess and the champions they are portrayed at/equipment they use was iconic/detrimental to their success. The songs that come before each Worlds usually convey similar message - of overcoming your own weaknesses and rising up to actually win over your idols, people that you looked up to. Check 'Legends never die' from previous years for more Riot's music team greatness.

King of the LCK is a reference to the Faker (SKT T1 Faker). He isn't only the king of LCK (LCK=Korea's LOL League, AKA the most successful and prestigious league. Korean teams have won 7 times the Worlds), but also he is the greatest LOL player of all time. He won Worlds 3 times, and he made it 4 times to the Worlds final.
