I just bought a combat patrol box, and ive printed up some hearthguard to try out with the patrol box. Im really waiting now to see what they will drop with the codex whenever that officially gets announced. So far after im done printing the stuff I found ill have a khal and a grymnyr a 9 man unit hearth guard, a set of warriors, berserks, a unit of thunderkyn, a unit of pioners, and a sagitar. I think this will be a good place to start practicing my army. then when the codex drops ill get the box that comes with that.

Excellent sub assembly video for this boxed set. I haven't played 40k since G Dub killed my Imp Squat army almost 30 years ago. Since they have finally brought the Space Dwarves back, I will be getting this set to paint up even if just for the nostalgia factor. If they actually support this army I may even sit down for the first time in decades and actually field them! Thanks for the video, lots of good stuff in it!

Great Video with lots of Insights! Is is feasible to magnetize the main weapons of the Hearthkyn? As having either the bolters or the ion weapons might be good, depending on the overall army list. Similarly the special weapons. It looks like the left arm would be the same and only the right arms change?

You would have to use very small magnets, at the hand on the left, and at the wrist for the right. Not for new magnetizers due to the delicacy needed but manageable for senior magnetizers. :)

I like the models, but not the bikes. Every time I see them looks like futuristic hover roombas attached. Money being saved for maybe Guard and 100% World Eaters right now. Might get a 1-2k point army of LoV after the next wave of models. Just subbed though since great video content!

yup... still cool models though. Them being OP is entirely intended to sell the army boxes. Fully expect that by the time the CP/vanguard box comes out, they'll be nerfed down to Tau level at a minimum. This is just par-for-the-course with big game companies these days. Even MtG is broken by every new set that comes out, cus WizBro knows they would stop seeing profits if they didnt leverage their "stupid whales". Same goes for GW.
