1:40 there is a compartment with the newer box. You can see the inside upper flap will fold down like the current one in the leaked picture. The inner flap is slightly lower than the whole box.

Umm.. I do expect Rolex prices on the grey market to keep falling towards retail if that are not already at retail. Rolex is a super product but the inflated Grey Market inflated prices always seemed artificial to me and the market would eventually turn. Always follow what you like, do not follow the crowd as it will always take you to a cliff edge.

Same here. The main reason I keep mine is, should I need to sell one of the Rolex's, (I hope I won't ever have to) the box and papers make a hell of a difference to the resale price. I have a Longines watch and the box it came with is absolutely beautiful, much better than a Rolex. they even include a microfibre cloth, Rolex can't even manage one of those.

I prefer the current Rolex box to this new replacement, which looks less of a luxury product. My favorite Rolex box is the one my 18238 came in. Pure class. Happy Holidays, Austin - love your channel!

My new IWC Ingenieur came with its own soft case and honestly that is what I want from all watch brands. I do not need yet another box that is going to sit impressively in my closet. Give me something I can use to keep the watch in my bedside drawer or go traveling with.

You may be correct they are making minor changes to keep counterfeit sellers behind slightly. Rolex boxes are still behind other brands like Omega.

Just picked up an omega FOIS and the box is sick. The Rolex box is smaller and simple with the card and booklet hidden. The omega box has a whole book dedicated to the moon landing along with a fat compartment for the instruction booklet.

WOW didn't think the box could get worse. The Tudor boxes used to be better than the Rolex boxes. However my BB Monochrome came in a box that is on par with the current Rolex box.
