I love how this test animation for Earth 42 Miles and Aaron parallels directly to the first movie with Spidey Miles learning to web swing with Peter as they're escaping Alchemax. I hope this scene stays in the next movie as an introduction/recap to what these versions of Prowler are capable of and this animation is as remarkable as the other scenes from ATSV with how they were executed. You can really feel how Miles G was naturally meant to become Spider-Man with his athletic and quick-witted talents.

I love how their movement as a team looks and feels so similar to Spider-man's style of swinging. It really sets Prowler-Miles up as a formidable equal to Spidey-Miles, their confrontation is about to be next-level. It's also beautiful how this relationship is such a perfect metaphor for how Miles relies on the presence of his uncle Aaron in his life. It's more than just love, his uncle is like a slack-line Miles is able to secure himself to. He's not afraid of letting his full weight fall on that line in just being his complete self around his uncle, because he knows that line will never break. In this scene we see demonstrated literally what was present metaphorically in Spider-Miles' relationship with his uncle in the first movie. What a masterfully orchestrated tie-in, if this footage is genuine. It checks too many boxes to be fake in my mind, there seem to be a lot of design and animation choices even in just 40 seconds of footage that feel consistent with the vision of the series as-is. Seems legit to me.

For anyone confused on why we have such a detailed and animated scene when the movie isn’t even close to being out, that’s because this originally was a scene from ATSV. But due to the fact that it would both conflict with the run time and flow of the plot, they decided to remove it altogether. That being said though, it may very well be reused in BTSV to show the Earth 42 Miles good side and how he isn’t exactly a villain, more of a Robin Hood type of character. Stealing from the powerful and giving it back to those in need. Tldr, this is a cut scene from ATSV that may get used for BTSV.

The suit even looks like a dark Spidey I think it will fit perfectly with the message this trilogy has been showing... Because unlike our own Miles, the Prowler Miles is really a good guy and a straight-living person from the start - he goes to his classes and takes life seriously. At the heart of it, Miles-42 is still a good guy. He can carry his weight and is a hero without being Spider-Man. And final proof of that is when Prowler Miles reveals his face, it's lighting is *blue and red*. Meaning the heart of Spider-Man, minus the powers of Spider-Man. And since the Prowler Miles's suits are violet, it's actually a sign of his more anti-heroic character arc - blend blue and red, you get violet - showing how he's willing to get brutal against the Sinister Six and other menaces to society as the viilet-colored Prowler, so his heart for the marginalized and his brutality against the Sinister Six will be something I want to see portrayed properly. Meanwhile, our own Miles (1610) actually NEEDED to become Spider-Man, which is his redirection in life, because unlike Prowler Miles (42), our Miles wasn't taking his life seriously and was getting dangerously close to following in his criminal uncle's footsteps - as shown in the first film, "Into the Spiderverse", when OG Blonde Spider-Man meets him for the first time - Miles' colors change from *violet/green* to *blue/red* - from having the Prowler personality to the Spider-Man personality. Truly this situation may be a blessing in disguise for the two Miles' - why? Because instead of the original scenario in which we have one good Miles (Earth-42) and an evil Prowler Miles (Earth-1610)... We get TWO good Miles' - A good Spider-Man (Earth-1610, *our* Miles), and a good Prowler Miles (Earth-42).

I thought this would be the case just from the end of the movie, but this seems to confirm it. Miles in E-42 is prowler, but not a bad guy. From the mural of his father and the look of NY in his dimension, I think that Miles' dad died because of corruption in city govt/corporations and felt he needed to fight it. He didn't get spiderman powers like he should've though, so he got help from his uncle with his prowler tech, and it's likely Aaron has partnered with Miles because he feels responsible for his brothers death. Definitely Anti-heroes, since they more more dark and rough when meeting with our miles, but I'd say they're not villains

Seeing this miles is exactly what our Miles is. Just like Miles said in the first film, he runs better than he swings. I can say that is the case with confidence because when we first see Prowler Miles he has a symbol on his chest that has spray paint residue leaving a dripping trail; which indicates Miles’ proficiency in art and our Miles did the same thing when he spray painted the spider symbol on his chest in the first film.

Goes to prove how worthwhile the years of painstaking storyboarding they took with this paid off so thoroughly. They took way longer than most productions in that process, and it shows. And then to go past that and innovate so profoundly on the texture/look dev/lighting and render side. This movie is a whole cut above.

I have seen this an obsessive compuslivly amount of times. I love this shot, the hip hop backround and the amount of trust Miles and Aaron have with one another you can tell they have a bond. Also miles is absolutely badass and slick with his movements. I love his braids too.
