It's been so for eons. I've never dated people in "complicated relationships" for this exact reason - even if they were not living with their exes at the time. It's also a good idea to give people time to simmer down just after they've separated - who knows when one of them will try to get back only to fuck it up for everyone in the triangle?! The only hard part of this rule is after a certain age it takes a lot longer to find someone who is actually single without any strings attached or baggage. A lot of people across genders lie about being completely single while they have you or their ex as a back up. Here Colin was living with Kaitlin and still Mo thought it's a good idea to explore "them." Mix of attraction and Colin concealing information may be. Dude was deleting Mo's texts and had even saved her name under a pseudonym. It's funny and sad at the same time that one's dead, other's life is ruined and he's a free bird.

Respectfully, this is part of a trial. The audio/video clip was leaked. This is a key piece of evidence as it supports the autopsy report of two rapid gunshots to Mo’s head, followed by the last shot 5-seconds later to her heart. If KA is convicted, thus may go down as among the most brutal murders. And if KA is convicted, hopefully she will be eligible for the death penalty, or alternatively, life w/o parole.

Mo, in fact, that Colin was still in a relationship with Kaitlin based on the text messages presented in court. Mo was hanging out with a guy who had a live-in girlfriend despite the fact that she was warned to "stay away" earlier that year. She was well aware of the fact that he was in a relationship with another woman, yet she still chose to pursue the guy. On the day of the murder, they both hooked up behind Kaitlin's back.
