Everything is harder in a real match. And also I didnt say consistently, obviously no one can do it 95% of the time. I was simply saying that its possible to do it in practice after a week or two. There are much harder moves to pull off in Tekken for example, like Kazuya's d/f+2 PEWGF, or Bryan's Taunt Jet Upper

Samuel Johnson It is played by a human, but with using tools such as savestates, frame advancements, etc, allows you to play perfectly with no mistakes, or just however you want to in general. The inputs are recorded in real time, and when you mess up, savestates nullify that effect, giving you your desired results. Once you're done, the inputs are saved on a file, and you just go and replay the file, which essentially has the game playing itself at that point. So no, it's not some godly A.I playing the game, we haven't reached that point in time yet, although A.I coding and learning processes have been experimented with in other, more simpler games. A real human has to manually do this process, and it can take many months for some TASes, depending on how good you want it to be.
