Amazing tutorial--thank you so much for showing the pros and cons of each! So helpful!

So much fun...start strumming and just go into the zone. Thanks Matt, managed to pick it up relatively quickly with your explanation.

Abit late to the party, but far by the best tutorial explaining this, well done.

Thanks! I haven't caught a live lesson but they are just as helpful (I think) watched later. I've been learning "My Guitar Gently Weeps" and have been struggling with the triplets. I'll give these a try and see which works.

Little late to the party. But great lesson...been practicing the 3rd triplets option 🤟 Nice 501st Legion sticker btw, but I’ve never seen you at the meetings 😉

What ukulele are you playing?

Matt's playing a custom-made Kanile'a Ukulele. You can learn more about the differences in standard models and custom builds here: rockclass101.com/why-kanilea-is-my-favorite-hawaiian-ukulele-brand/

@Matt Dahlberg do you think the long thumb nail could compromise the third triplet performance?
@MattDahlberg4 жыл бұрын
I suppose it could, but it'd have to be really long. I've got a bit of a thumb nail and I actually find it helps me get more volume on my up strums.

@@MattDahlberg I have more than a bit of thumb nail 😅.
