Wonderful ideas again! I remembered, I have carrots, which I have to use quickly. So today I am going to make vegetable soup with potatoes and onions. One hint from me: I always have a ready made salad and sliced vegetables for the sandwishes in containers in my fridge. That way my family eat more vegetables 😋

I recently gave up cable end am enjoying time to watch your older videos, read and do things around the house. I'll watch some TV but it's not my companion any more where I was watching HGTV and the Food Network show that I didn't really care about. I'll watch them when they are available on Discovery+. My new goal for Sundays is never leaving the house and I'm loving it. I have a quiet day at home with the dogs preparing for the week, taking a nap, etc. I needed new lightbulbs for a fixture I had installed on Saturday but decided it could be an errand on the way home from work one day this week. Doing my Sunday cook-a-thon is fun and I'm prepared for the week, so I eat healthy and save $. Thanks for being such an inspiration!

Meal planning is so so so helpful to save money and food! I typically meal plan every Sunday as well as take inventory of food and any household items we might need (dish soap, shampoo, etc), then go grocery shopping on Monday. I moved my shopping day this week to last night because I needed some items to make a dessert for Easter this Sunday, so I did my inventory for next week and got those items too. I won't have to go again on Monday. I hope you both have a blessed day to remember the sacrifice and promising resurrection of our Lord ❤

I find quite a few things come with that netting on it such as the hams, garlic will come in small ones as well as some of the clearance produce that they package up. I save all of those netting bags and use them for different things. I use them in the garden to wrap around a squash that's growing or a pomegranate that's growing to keep the birds away from them and that seems to work very well. I also use them to hold a squash or something like that up off of the ground so that it doesn't rot. I also make my own scrubby sponges for the kitchen. You sew what would look like a miniature pillow and on one side I sew in a piece of that netting and it acts like a scrubby side of the sponge.

I am watching this a year later but I had an idea similar to the sandwich you made. My idea is for taking a sandwich like that on the go. You take a whole package of the rolls, take them still connected out of the package and cut them like you did. Place the bottom half back in the tray, build your sandwich however you want. Put the top back on and cut the rolls right in the tray. Put the tray back in the bag and tie them off. Now they are ready for the event. They can go in the fridge, the cooler, wherever, and you just take off the bag and serve. You can leave off the condiments until you serve so people can add what they like. Have squeeze bottles for condiments for convenience.

While we usually don’t watch tv, we do watch KZbin on our own devices!!! & if our 6 year old is up & watching with either of us it’s usually one of my type of videos (like you) or science videos 😂 However, one of my favorite ways to relax (besides reading or KZbin) is coloring!!! Love it!!! Oh & last week I was doing inventory on our pantries and both freezers... our freezers... 6 pages of multiple items of almost everything. SIX PAGES. Just in the freezer!!!! Yes we have been eating down our inventory, went grocery shopping for the first time in over 2 1/2 weeks just for some basics. I’d say we are set!!! I have been coming up with new ways to use up ITALIAN dressing that expires on the 21st of this month 😱my family is over the ITALIAN chicken, so we have made pasta salad, will be making a new recipe for ITALIAN meatballs using the dressing. & then, 2 more bottles to go. Any other ideas? Extra points if not carb heavy as we are diabetics. We started with 4 bottles at the beginning of last week. Will be down to 2 after tomorrow.

Emmy, thanks for the great tips and recipe, and the intro was great! I was inspired to use up some things that really needed using. Tonight I watched another youtuber, Mary's Nest. She teaches traditional cooking and also ways to make the best use of your pantry. Tonight she made chicken patties from canned chicken, in a way that made them taste great. Anyway, she was doing a collaboration with some other ladies, and they call it #pantryraid collaboration (as opposed to panty raid). The lady that started it is Vicky's Country Home, and she has an intro to it that tells how to get your video included. You might want to at least check them out, and maybe even submit a short video of your own. That might be fun! God bless, Bonnie

Also if you have an old window screen you can use it for separating the good from the bad in the soil

Glad you had a blessed Easter. I missed Friday but understand. I used the slow cooked chicken . Roasted carrots and potatoes, salad. Yummy. The family loved it. I made chicken stock with the bones and juice . In my freezer for a great soup.

Loved the intro and kickstart; nice door! I'm going to stop procrastinating on chores and enjoy puzzles in lieu of some TV time. Booked a trip to see family later this year so I don't lose airline credit that I didn't get a refund for in 2020. Be well, all!

We had these sliders for supper tonight. I put a tsp. of brown sugar in my mixture. Every single time I ask my husband what he wants for supper, he says sliders. I made them one night with browned hamburger meat. He’s wearing me out with the sliders, but they are so easy and reheat well.
