Thank you, Cindy. I've just discovered the Gibson LG-2 guitar, by accident when I saw a review of an Atkin 47 on Andertons, which is in the UK. That one blew me away, but could never justify spending $4-5000 on a guitar. So I'm looking for a good deal on a used one. Love the Banner reissues, but would be very content with the LG-2 50s reissue. So wish me luck. I'm too old(71)to think I need another guitar, but I know you can relate! Thanks again.

Hello Cindy. You certainly make that 12 string sound great. I really enjoyed the live show and the chance it gives to interact in real time. I'm looking forward to the next. As much as the guitar info I like your tales of when you first moved to California and playing on the street for cash. In that vein, would you tell me what songs you were playing then and in your earlier guitar playing days. It seems that I have mislaid some of the songs I used to play from the 60's and 70's and it would be fun to get back to them. I also really liked your comment about prayer overcoming stagefright. Prayer can overcome almost all obstacles. Cheers and may God bless

Thanks!I know the smallest bit of music theory, and I know you’re avoiding that to not scare people away. But it took me around ten minutes to figure out this was in the key of A … maybe. Was I right?
@guitarnotions6 күн бұрын
I don't think so…Let me see…it starts with a B (7th fret) then goes to the E. Note: The “A” in the video heading is not a chord. Did I make an error?😀

@@guitarnotions Just between you and me, so as to not disturbed the theory shy, I assumed B. The I-IV-V there would be B-E-F#, chords you used, but I thought you also had a D thrown in there which I think isn’t in the key of B. I found all the root notes of the chord in the key of A. I haven’t rewatched, so maybe you didn’t have a D chord and I was hallucinating. Note all this was done while brushing my teeth and watching the video.

@@CameraLaw oh I don't think you were hallucinating 🤣 it was midnight when I was doing that video. I was so tired by the time I edited the contents I really would not place confidence in my playing what I was intending. 😀 thanks again for all your continued support ❤️

Just guessing. I think LG stands for Little Gibson.
