Scam School the beauty of this trick is that I can do it in dutch. Kleur means color and is also 5 letters. Nummer means number and has the same amount of letters. And gelijke kaart means matching card in a way but also 12 letters!! So bam trick works

You can reset and keep the stack intact if you count as you spell each word without reversing the cards. Remember the card you flip over goes under the pile when you are picking up the piles to do it again.

Those are both good suggestions. So far I've done the trick 3 times and nobody has called me on it, I think they're too busy trying to spot the sleight. Either way if anyone called me on it I was going to go off on a tangent about the french/english history of the "U".

Yes. It only works when you spell colour by 6 leters not by five. It doesn't work in polish when "kolor" takes only 5 letters. But...! You can always spell it as "kolory " ( that means plural)which brings you up to the six letter word that is required. There is always a method that you need, just look for it.!!!!!!!. So for the rest of the trick just find a matching words that have the same number of letters (which is the most important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) as the words provided in tutorial and you are done,no matter what language are you speaking.

Only just seen this video, it can work in a British spelling if you add an 's' on the end of number and matching card. Turn over that 's' card when spelling out. When spelling colour, turn over the 'r' when spelling out instead of the next card.

Absolutely love the Si Stebbins stack. You honestly can't learn enough tricks with it. It made me master the push-through riffle shuffle - the only way to really convince people without words that the deck is completely mixed when it's not.

"give us our other matching card" This has 26 letters and the 'matching card' is the 26th card when you count down. For those with problems like 'colour' and shit just use this phrase and cut directly to the matching card. I guess there are other solutions

You have a couple of options. You can spell it as "colour", then use "numbers" and "matching cards" (the last card you deal is the identifier), or you can blame it on being an Americanized deck of cards. ;)

I had this problem, so I decided to use "is it black or blush?", which works if you only spell out one. You don't have to get the right colour but if you want to you can count it on your head C,H,S,D,C then the next is Hearts so blush. I hope this was some help.

I have realized you don't have to do "matching card". For example, if "color" is red and is a diamond, then the unknown card is a heart! If "number" is 3, then the unknown card is the 3 of diamonds!

@finna92 Hi I'm in the UK so we spell colour the correct way with a U. There are 2 solutions. 1 after the cutting spread the deck and have a card selected, but not looked at & placed face down on table. Cut deck at the place card was taken, but 1 card to the right (keep the card above the removed card on top) this will mean there is 1 extra card on top so the spelling will work the same. Or say the joker will help the deck know the card, put joker on top after card removed as in the video

If you're practicing this trick just reverse the order after the trick by putting the cards back on top starting with the last card placed to restore CHaSeD order to quickly reset and practice.

From what I've experimented with, you don't need all 52 cards to do a successful Si Stebbins stack. But you will have to avoid doing "Matching Card" and mention that the opposite suite of the first card is the suite of the face down card. That and you will occasionally bust and burn due to not having the opposite card.

Handy hint: to speed up sorting for CHaSeD order in a lot of tricks hearts and diamonds are interchangeable and so are spades and clubs. The important part in this trick is just making sure cards increment by three and alternate between black and red.

If the suit of the cards in the deck was irrelevant and only the colour mattered then it would be the same every time only e.g. the nine of hearts (9h) would be interchangable with the nine of diamonds (9d). However since the first card picked ("COLOR") only gives you the colour and not the suit of the card it does not matter whether it would be a diamond or a heart. The second card picked ("NUMBER") will always give you a version of your card in the opposite colour than yours once again independent of suit. If your card was the 9h it wouldn't matter whether the card picked in this stage was the 9s or the 9c. The third card picked ("MATCHINGCARD")will always be either the 9h or the 9d. Again it is irrelevant which of these cards it actually is because the card you picked at the start of the trick will simply be the other one.

Brian, after watching you forever and listening to you... I think I have made a Tech Card Trick... Your card will tell my phone what card you picked. Other way is to use a small Arduino that will speak your card while you look at it. Trick uses C#.

instead of placing the cards on the table , you can put them on the bottom of the deck one by one, including the cards you turn over; this way you retain the order of the stack. At the end you only need to replace them at the same place turning face down again

quick reset.don't make 3 piles, put them into a single pile leaving the "color" & "number" cards face up in the stack of face down cards and the final "matching card" will be the only face up card visible when you do the final reveal. after turning the card over to see that it does match, use it to scoop up the single pile on the table. now you have 27 cards scooped off the table with some face up throughout. run singles onto the remander of the deck turning face up cards face down as they come.

It does work with COLOUR - just turn over the 'R' card instead of the one after. Then for 'Number', ask them to turn over the next card for you

I am from Ukraine and when I perform such trick, people are always asking me, why do I use English words. So that's what I actually answer them: "This is an American deck, why is it supposed to know Ukrainian or Russian?", and I also show them a sticker with the "US Playing Card Company" label:) That works fine for me:)

If you deal face up in the pack (while spelling), you can make this trick over and over. Pick the packs back in order until you place the chosen card on top. Cut and make the trick again. The spelling is fast and no one is going to notice the sequence.

CHaSeD It really doesnt matter which one you start with, just add 3 to the card. So if you start with lets say a 9 of diamonds...if you add 3 you end up with Q but it needs to be of Clubs, because thats the next suit. then you add 3, you get to the 2 of hearts, then add 3 you get to the 5 of Spades add 3 you get to the 8 of diamonds, until you run out of cards. Hope that helped more than it confused you.

No, you are not changing the order. Just imagine the deck organized in a loop. That way there aren't really first and last cards. It doesn't matter where you decide to start counting, the order is the same. (As long as you don't shuffle it)

I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but you don't need to do all 3 words. I saw that when you use the "color" the value is always the other. example if the card is a spade then their card is a club. Then you only need the "number" to finish.

Matching card never comes up right. I noticed it always ends up 3rd and 7th card suit. So for final I just say, the 3rd card will reveal the suit as this will be the third reveal. Or spell Number again and the next card, 7th, will be the suit as well.
