P.S. Today Armenian is spoken in two dialects Eastern and Western Armenian. Eastern Armenian is spoken in the Republic of Armenia while Western Armenian is spoken mostly by the Armenian diaspora. The video was recorded in Eastern Armenian. The writing though is the same for Eastern and Western Armenian.

I have lived in Armenia for almost a year and don't think I've every heard anyone say "bari aravot" for good morning, only "bari luys". Is "bari aravot" just super formal?

Its interesting how there are differences even in the smallest details in eastern and western Armenian

This is Eastern dialect. Among other things, Eastern substitutes B for P, as in Parev instead of Barev. Polhor instead of Bohlor, meaning "all." There is not only one Armenian, but is divided between Western and Eastern dialect in general. Among these, are other regional dialects which also use different vocabulary. Most Armenians can understand pretty much of both dialects, not perfectly, but can get conversationally along ok.

inchpes es? Would be How are you? This is very common phrase in english and used as some form of greeting but I focus on the typical forms of greeting but yes you can say this as well in Armenian.

Why do you say in the description that the written forms of Western and Eastern Armenian are the same? That is simply not true. Many spellings are different, and grammar is different as well which means that the written dialects vary just as much as the spoken ones. This is covered in plenty of Armenian language textbooks that teach both dialects.
