I'm not a mathematician, but using the equation around 1:40, and using the speed of an aircraft around 500mph, we can work out the speed of the bowling pin to be around -0.0959079mph

I think we used different cannon speeds. I accounted for the fact that a basketball is 30 times lighter than a cannonball, and would get fired 30 times faster if it didn't pop. Therefore, I ended up with -0.0084269663

I've been taking the God's Lang II classes up at the local community college, and "Skarlam" (one of its aprox. in the Latin alphabet) is quite versatile, actually. Putting the "-istus" verbifier on the end means "to stuff luggage in the overhead compartment." Finding this link between the two words was what lead the first Plane Builders to make the overhead compartment system in the first place. This is actually just one of many ways that God's Language has helped human engineering.

The learn attack format is such a good parody of scishow, vsauce, etc, and the aspects where youtube 'educators' have failed. From the unrelatable hooks, to the awkward attempt to cover the entirety of a subject in a couple minutes, to the borderline inhuman mannerisms of the hosts, to the attempts to sell their trustworthiness by appealing to a quote from someone with more authority than them; it all ties up into that peppy voice that is unreasonably and uncomfortably excited about the idea of science.

So, assuming: g = golf ball = 10 mph b = basketball = 80 mph (the top running speed of a cheetah) j = jump rope = 350 mph (the best average I could find of an object being fired from a cannon) p = pin a = speed of an airplane in mph you get a = (6*80*350) / (100 - 80/p) a = 168000 / (100 - 80/p) a = (168000*p) / (100*p - 80) a = (8400*p) / (5*p - 4) Assuming the pin is stationary, this becomes a = (8400*0) / (5*0 - 4) a = 0 / -4 a = -0 Therefore, airplanes don't move; the world moves around them. Airplanes are truly magical.
