** PHRASES FROM THE CONVERSATION **
That is an excellent question
It’s late November
When does winter officially start?
The shortest day of the year is the 21st of December
It goes dark at about 5:30
You can get some glorious days
It’s going to be a high of 70 degrees Fahrenheit
I thought that was a little ambitious
When we drove 10 minutes down the road
An early release is when you have to pick them (the children) up early from school
We can go sledding/sledging near here
It’s freezing cold / it’s going to be freezing tomorrow
put on your jacket it’s freezing
I found trousers really uncomfortable
They do not like wearing jackets
Anything below freezing to me is cold
I’m so glad that you asked
One of the things that I enjoy most about winter is layering
I don’t like wearing hats
Is that because it messes up your hair?
base layers vs long underwear - a tight thin layer
I am allergic to wool
Sometimes, my hands get ice cold
he’s done these marathons in Finland in just his shorts and boots
it’s a test to show how much you can resist the cold
I take cold showers - I finish on a cold shower
this isn’t in 4k so you can’t see the pores
having a cold shower is great - it’s energizing / invigorating
I wish it was cooler to wear all the layers
I want to make it cool to wear all the layers
Beanies are really in right now
when I take it off, I have hat hair
Maybe I have to get one
Didn’t you do cross country skiing?
I was on a cross-country skiing team
How did you stay warm?
I grew up in New England where you could go ice-skating
There were a lot of ice skating rinks
I’ve only been twice (skiing)
There’s also a dry ski slope (hold on!)
Have you ever tried snowboarding?
People in the U.K. aren’t into the winter Olympics

Thanks!!!! I'll be staying tuned for sure!

Thank you, Jack and Kate, for the video. Once, I met a person who was wearing a t-shirt with sleeves, meanwhile, there was -20 C outside. He was wearing that not to shock everyone, but that was comfortable and cozy for him. I like warmness as all creatures, but that human being had a super resistant power against any cold. While I was thinkings this, I started to cover with frost. In spite of my warm, winter jacket I was freezing - but not him! My own opinion, It can be dangerous for the health if you are not prepared. Frequently children do that just to look cool, to be more attractive.

My country doesn't have winter but I love snow. So in summer, people tend to play sports like soccer, volleyball, and swimming ....., during the summer, I normally play video games. Even though it is quite bad for my health because smokers smoke as if they haven't smoked for a long time, the smell is so terrible.

Hello both of you , Hi There, In my country, Pays Basque, in the Southwest of France, the weather is very fluctuent. Yesterday, we wore a T shirt because it was 22° celsius. I feel like Jack. The first reason that I don't like winter is because I don't like put on a lot of clothes on my body. But, paradoxically, I am like Katy. When it freezes and I cannot stay bare, I am fond of hats, gloves, scarves,, sweaters, coats and boots with fur on the inside. I am stunned by Wim Hof, the man who can stay one hour and a half in ice and also by the cold shower of Jack. For me, it seems like a torture. I am going to look into this figure. Thanks for your video and your good mood Oh, right behind you......... I can't wait to be in summer, so I imagined it was waves on a sunny beach...
