This was really fun to play. I went for the original CCR strum. Felt proud of myself that I could play it. A big thank you, Stu.

Hey Stu! Nice to see the Thich Nhat Hanh calligraphy pin on your shirt after an earlier short conversation we had in in the KZbin comments. CCR happens to be my favourite band too. Rock on and enjoy this present moment (and all subsequent present moments!)

Thanks for noticing…Thây’s practices are the bedrock of my daily life. His are not the only teachings and traditions I honor but they fit well and are easily applied (breathing is very portable too 😉) thanks for watching the video… there are so many great CCR tunes with Lex that really teach some nice foundational aspect in Harmony… I think I’m gonna explore another one sometime soon. I love your expression “Rock on, and enjoy this present moment and all subsequent moments” 🙏 Wishing you a wonderful day…all blessings, Stu

You're a real bad a** on this one Stu. 😎 Don't know if I'll ever get there. But , you make it fun trying! I'm sure I'll get something good out of this. Great choice of tunes. ✌️❤️ ~ 🦋

I am going to try your Funky Strum #1. I have been looking for something better than the simple down-strums I was using. The other strums are too advanced for my beginner level skills.
@UkuleleZen Жыл бұрын
That’s no problem, of course… That’s why I offered a variety of different strums. Keep the tempo with the jam with any strum you like 😊 Thanks for watching

Hi I watch your tutorials with great pleasure Music means the world for me I am 70 years young, play guitar for 10 years and ukulele for one year. I was always crazy about music but never thought of playing an instrument myself I have a remark and a question My remark: when ever there is a tutorial (not specific by you) about strumming it usually concerns patterns: UUDDUDUD etc. But I am also interested in the technique, especially how to strumm with my nails of 3 fingers simultaneously. This is kind of different especially the upstrokes because your nails can get caught in the strings The pro’s like you do this so easily It sounds great and it looks great. And you know that we men play an instrument to impress the chickies😅😅 May be a good idea to spend a tutorial about this? All the best wishes Dirk from Helmond, Holland

Hi Dirk, good to hear from you and thanks for your comment. I hope to visit Holland again someday 😊 I do have tutorials on different streaming techniques like you’re mentioning… If you look through my channel to the hour, long live streams, I offer the first Sunday of every month… You’ll find that there’s quite a bit. There are some of them dedicated entirely to strumming techniques. Wishing you all the best… Have fun making music today 😃🎶🤙
