Hi Michael, Can I ask you a question? How can I improve my English by listening to podcasts? I like listening to them, but I don't enjoy listening to the same content over and over again. If I just listen to new content instead of figuring out all the meanings, is it effective?Thanks

Hello. Great question! It absolutely is effective. In my opinion, having fun and enjoying the process should always be the top priority. Learning a language shouldn't be boring, and you'll learn faster when having fun. When I listen to a podcast in another language, I don't pause and write anything down. I don't listen more than once. I just enjoy the topic and then move on. I think we have to have faith that we are slowly improving each time. Just one thing to keep in mind is try to listen actively. Rather than having something on in the background, see if you can really pay attention to everything that's being said. Hope this reassures you!
