I have been learning English since 2 years ago, i haven't got any teacher since i started, i just use internet and myself to practice it and improve it. It is really difficult to pay a course in Venezuela. But i am always positive and i think i am more fluent than so many people in my country, and at least everybody says that i have a good pronunciation even better than the pronunciation of so many teachers. I could say that my real passion for the English and other languages is their pronunciation, for example i started to learn English with the American English pronunciation, and i really loved that accent, but when i listened to the British English pronunciation i literally decided to start everything over, because i feel that the British accent sounds better on me, i don't know why, and i know it is kind of weird but i feel it more similar to my personality than the American accent. What i really mean is that you have to choose the things that you really are interested in. The best and the fastest way to learn a language is to do and consider the things that you are passionate about, even in spite of that you have to start everything over as i had to do.

@@mifedemiespe Well!, it is difficult to say what is the best method for learning a language, because it depends so much on what you personally like or what is the easiest method for you. I know that the hardest fact of learning a language is to find the best strategies of learning it. Personally, for me the most entertaining way of learning English was seeing gameplays or whatever videos on the internet, not precisely videos about teaching English. You just must find out the things you like to do in Spanish, but instead doing them in English, as well as, it also helps to imitate your favourite youtubers or artists, not only when you are seeing their videos, if not every single time throughout the day, no matter if you cannot even translate the phrases, just say them because of the context. Sometimes as I don't have anyone to speak with; I speak alone, I know it is kind of rare, but it helped me so much to understand the logic of the English language. Also, every time I say any phrase in Spanish I try to always think how I would say it in English. The best part of it is that when you already know what are your best methods to learn English; it'll be easier to learn another language as it happened to me when I started learning French and German as well. You'll see it is not too difficult, it just needs time and constancy. Good luck!!, God bless you too!!

As a non- English speaker, I've tried many ways to learn it. One of the ways that I do recently is that soon after I get up every morning, I grab my very first morning coffee, which alerts to my sleepy brain that it's time to wake up like. And I watch one motivation video in English and then write down my journal and today's to-do-list in English. Actually, I've been trying to start my day in English and wrap up my day in English since a couple of months ago. Just so you know, I came across your channel this morning, I've been watching almost 5 of your videos so far today. Very helpful and phenomenal!!

I was been learning English on my own for two years, starting from scratch, and I'm becoming more and more motivated as I move forward. The thing I'm gonna do for (at least) ten minutes every day over the next 30 days is practising pronunciation, stress and intonation. And as you teachers say, it can seem boring, but it's the only way to train our English-speaking muscles. And for me it's a pretty big deal. Practise makes progress. Immerse myself in your beautiful language is my goal to achieve this year. And now, I 've got to see a man about a dog. Cheerio!

At the end of the year, my goal is to have a C1 level of English (Option wherein I am being realistic.) or perhaps higher than that which is C2 level of English (Option wherein I am being ambitious but at the same time, it is not far from reality.) I will try my best to achieve the desired result that I have. I know consistency is one of the most essential part of it, so I have to be consistent. I'll go back to this video once I was able to do so. Thank you, Jack!

Hi Jack! I wanna be honest with you. I'm learning English for about more than 3 years on my own and I still have a huge difficult to remember words, written and speaking. I'm learning American English accent because here in Brazil USA has a huge influence in our culture. I mean, influenced by movies, actors, music etc. You're one of the best teacher that someone could find to learn English. By the way, British movies, music and so on, make a huge success as well, but we are closest to the USA when it comes to culture.

Great presentation. There's three points I'd like to attire your attention. Firstly most people have a family and it is not so easy to explain to them that because you've decided to be able to speak English no more native tv, native songs, native chats at home. And try to explain to your boss :"OK, boss, speak to me only in English thank you." because let face it, if you're a plomber, a bus driver, a maths teacher , a baker etc. you don't need English at work and you won't be able to practise it during work hours. Secondly, the place the native tongue has taken in your life. Let me give you an example. To know a rule isn't enough. In French we use the auxiliary to be with agree. I agree> Je SUIS d'accord. So automatically we have a tendency to use this auxiliary in English. We know it is to agree but very often we say : I am agree, Are you agree etc. instead of I agree, do you agree, didn't he agree with me the last time we met. I can give you plenty of exemples such as the use of simple present instead of present perfect. In French no present perfect for example. Thistly . You have to believe you can reach your goal. Psychology is more important that the method you use. You must change your self image from : " I can't, I'm not ready, I need more vocabulary, I'm not sure of my grammar, oh no my accent etc. to let's go.He/ she asks me something in English that a great opportunity to practise. I don't need to be perfect.

Hello Jack. Thanks for your time. I really appreciated those 23 minutes. I already work 30 minutes (and more) every morning for a while - three years at last - but I don't consider myself as fluent. Now I feel like I have to find a new method. I'm a self-learner and I don't have a particular teacher. I have always studied on my own. I started by learning vocabulary with Memrise, and recently, I downloaded Quizlet. Which is good. I used Quizlet for the new vocabulary I come across, and also as a reminder for global sentences - modal verbs. By the way. I think that I will consider myself as a fluent speaker when I will be able to use modal verbs properly, which is not the case. Thanks again for your time and your delicate character. Say Hello to Spain from me. I speak French and Spanish and.... an acceptable English. I'm currently in quarantine in Cebu City, Philippines.

I am going to watch reports on political events in English (CNN, Al Jazeera, Sky News etc. My regular activity is to use Quora, where I put up questions and get answers. (To check my spelling and grammar I prefer Grammarly.)

Hi Jack. I've been following your lessons for quite some time, and I find them significantly helpfull and strinkgly forceful. It's that why I want to thank you for helping so many people to improve our English skills and enhance our way of learning. First thing I do in the morning, when I get up, is listenign to the radio in English, and it helps me to implement the language in my daily routines. Greetings for Kate and you from Santander, Cantabria, Spain. Cheers!

Thanks Jack for your recommendation .. It's really beneficial ..I'm an upper-intermediate English user . My current goal is to reach advanced level . Actually , every day I focus on one of the 4 skills of learning English .. I struggle with high leveled structure of the language . I know how to use them but when it comes to speaking , I struggle with them ! Your video inspired me a lot to make an organised plan to improve and get my goals achieved 😊

I have learnt English as a compulsory subject at school for more than ten years and I realized that the only way which helps you use it fluently is just simply learn it like a game instead of a boring subject at school.
