first of all, i wanna say thank you sincerely because today my mood was terrible about learning languages. i was drowning among all the words and i thought about how i expand my vocabulary. Then, i met with this podcast and after watched it, i decided to be excited when i see something i got difficulties because this is the requirement to learn and improve . Also, this is exactly how life is going on. We always learn new things and we shouldn't be worried about them. Instead, changing our minde and turning these hard conditions to passion makes everything better.

Listening to foreign language podcasts is good. It helps you learn correct pronunciation, a lot of words, recognize sentence patterns, brush up your grammar, and interact with bloggers, when they live-broadcast their lessons from time to time, thus allowing the learners to interact with them. To put the matter in a nutshell, podcasts are the best tools available on the net. I am trying to learn Arabic by listening and/or watching podcasts and videocasts on KZbin.

Yes, it takes time to learn new things, especially language but, we can learn it with practice. It's been three years that I'm learning this language not regularly but in total, I worked on it for a year. Many times I gave up but again when I feel like that I need this language for some reason then again I started learning. A positive mindset is needed for learning any language. English is my 3rd language. Before I was learning this for just fun but now I'm preparing for IELTS( International English language testing system ). Aj Hoge's book helped me a lot. First I started speaking English without caring about grammar rules. Then I started imitating as Aj Hogue mentioned in his book. Now I am at a level that I can communicate on normal topics but still makes grammar mistakes which I'm still learning. To be honest it's boring but you will feel happy if you feel progress like this guy said stay positive. Just sharing my experience, may be useful for someone.

During my high school, I learned English barely enough to pass the exam. After college, I tried many times to focus on my speaking skills but failed. This time, I won't give up easily. I will embrace the difficulty. This is my second day of trying again. On the first day, I watched an English podcast for beginners and learned a few words and phrases. One of my mentors suggested that if you want to learn any language, first try to learn its culture. Try to understand it. Listen to podcasts, hear words with full attention, and try to interpret the meaning in your local language. Carefully notice verbs and sentences created, etc.
