Dear Rachel! I have been following Ethen's channel for 3 months so came I to your channel. He had right, you are the strongest pronounciation teacher and it's amazing what and how you are doing! In this lesson by 12:04 you ask if we can hear the h by him is dropped. Suddenly I answered in English loudly "Oh yes, I can." And it was a correct answer I really could hear it out. It was the first moment in my life an english question was asked to me and I answered it automatically! Of course it's funny by this way but I am sure you can understand how I feel now. Hearing something (very simple) in English and answering it automatically in English! I can imagine what can I achieve in the future with you! My native language is Hungarian, which is a 99% phonetical language, so it's really hard to me to learn English pronountiation! I would like to thank you for my special feeling which is a really small step, but a step I always wanted to do. I wish you all the bests from Europe, Budapest 🥰. Thank you so much! ( Sorry for any mistakes I am still learning 😊).

These based-on-video lessons are outstanding! (to the top of my lungs) We can, not only listen to real English, but also learn real reductions and linking. As always, conducted by Rachel. Thank you, Rachel. At the beginning of the video I hear you thanking people for the idea of working with videos, right? Great! However, an idea without someone to put it into practice and make a lesson out of it? That's a completely different ball game. So, thank you very much. Your Brazilian fan #01 - Pedro

Wow Rachel! This old man , I've got serious problem do understand 🤣 100% of what he said.Because since I ve been studying with you for 2 years I can sometimes understand 100% of one paragraph. And sometimes it's a little bit frustrated when I can't. But I m going to listen to this all round the week to perceive every single teensy tiny sound. That's reminds me that, learning a language is a lifetime ride.Thank youuu so much because of this method I trained my ears.Sometimes I can watch movies without subtitles and understand 80 % .your method is next level! Ps I get problem of perceiving sound in my own mother tongue.

Have you, guys, noticed it before??? 😊 At first, I thought that the second word was misspelled, but it turned out to be a different and new word to me. I will give you an example: As we are living in a fast-paced world, because of our busyness, we, modern people, hardly have any time to eat properly. 📌

About the question mark. I think it’s there in the end. Of course the period after “on” and the “And” are misleading. It’s supposed to be “...on, and I hired him?” I think the interviewer’s intention is to get the interviewee’s reaction to his decision to having hired such a person as he breaks then rises pitch to emphasize the last part, which implies, a thing he normally wouldn’t have done. The Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck is the perfect reference for American accent smoothness. Try to work on some extracts that include conversations. Keep the good work. ❤️
