I have been wanting to learn a staff spin like this! And I vote YES to more staff spin videos that are fun and has some fighting stuff integrated into them. I had recently binge-watched a Chinese drama, and one of the side characters fought with a short staff with a spear head at each end. I was thrilled when I realized I understood how he was fighting because I recognized hiis moves from how you've been teaching in your KZbin videos! It was so COOL!! I'm definitely practicing this spin and adding it to your other teaching videos that I follow and am learning from! Thank you and more power to you!

Any tips or training for someone who is older with rather severe sciatica issues? My days of fisticuffs has long since passed. With the world going the way it is I think it may be time to find some defensive moves. Hopefully ones that can utilize a cane. Found this vid by accident, but glad I did.
