since watching your videos my flow rolling has gone to another level. rolling with less intensity and having enough time to identify the inefficiencies in my movement coupled with the main points of your grip fighting and 4 points of contact concepts has opened the language of bjj up to me. would love to see a video of your most important wrestling concepts and moves as my game severely lacks that and I'd like to improve it without drilling 1000 double legs and getting basically nowhere. keep it up bro!
@SuperKrisco3 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with everything you've said. Watching these videos and learning the concepts has allowed me to slow down and roll purposefully. I'd love to see some similar videos on wrestling / Judo concepts for stand up, because I'm too old and slow to blast double legs.

Hey J!! Tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. I am starting private lessons with someone that is completely brand new to Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He is getting ready for the United States Army. He he leaves on the 26th of June so he wants to get as ready as he can for the combatives. I am excited to teach him as much as I can so he can have some type of Advantage when they do the grappling portion over there. A lot of my friends have told me that they have a tournament over there and that it gets pretty crazy. So I want him to have as much as an advantage as possible and God willing he does not forget too much of what I show him LOL. I will not teach him too much crazy stuff I am just going to ensure that he gets really good at the basics and take it from there. His dad is also a United States veteran and so are his siblings they are all in the military. So this is going to be such a huge blessing. Anyways I am using these white belt videos of yours to help me out along with the curriculum that I wrote out for him. I will let you know how it is going. Keep these videos coming!!!

While I certainly appreciate variety, there’s something to be said for the value of showing repetitive techniques. Repetition brings familiarity, whether watched or drilled. This is one reason I go to class even if I have an injury or muscles need to recuperate, because I become familiar and learn so many new things thru observation. Thx again 👊🏻

Maybe they could go up a little further, or somewhere else where they don;t cover up the action. Anyway keep up the great work!
