When i think about british accent, this is what reminds me of. Maybe i was just used to listen to this kind of accent. I'm glad that now english has evolved in a more informal language even the RP english. The sad part is that english teachers from other countries rarely can imitate any of the accents that you showed off in your channel

One of the accents that fascinates me is Charlie Hunnam's, because he was born in England, but he moved to the US for his acting career. When he did King Arthur he had to take British English Pronunciation classes because he had changed his accent so much. I remember how mixed his accent was in interviews when he was promoting SOA (pronouncing garage US /gəˈrɑʒ/) and now he's got a stronger British accent (but I'd say much more RP than Geordie)... For me this just goes to show that even native speakers accent aren't the same during their lifetime ❤️❤️❤️.

In Hongkong, the pre-requisite of speaking proper English (or losing the Cantonese accent) is pronouncing the /th/ sound properly like RP instead of smearing it into an 'f' sound. Northern England's 'a' (/ae/) is also used more often in US English.

Hi, can I ask you a favor? I am teaching kids English right now, there are some words which are very confusing. My colleague told me my pronunciation was wrong. for example, pizza panda pasta such words end with a, I pronounce them more like a short a sound. My colleague said it's /pændə/, the last sound should be /ə/. But I looked up to the dictionary, it did sound like a short a sound not a clear /ə/sound. I think it’s between those two sounds.
