Awesome; looking forward to all the hellcat dodge tuning. So glad you got a hellcat and I hope there will be mods in the future as well as trans tuning.

awesome video. Is this also applicable for the TRX?

I would think so, since it has wideband sensors

Alright I have a question. At the beginning when you apply flex fuel then have to save it I got a message and at the bottom it says “use the write entire process on the first try only “. What does that mean? I thought I always write the entire process when loading a changed tune lol. It’s very clear if you don’t do this you can brick your ecm. I’ve also got a 22 I want to try it on and heard you say you’re not sure how it works on 18 and up so I wonder does it even work above 18s? Appreciate any help

Was anyone able to open the demon 170 file from the link? I am getting an error message in HP Tuners
@GoatRopeGarage4 ай бұрын
What error you getting? Might need the beta
@Slimecuda4 ай бұрын
@@GoatRopeGarage That did it: just downloaded the beta version and it works. Was getting a checksum invalid error. Thanks!

The demon 170 uses the ethanol content sensor to adjust fueling and timing instead of inferring from the widebands. Wouldn’t this cause you to be cautious using those settings in a non 170 hellcat based car?
@GoatRopeGarage4 ай бұрын
No, lots of platforms use inferred content from wideband readings. All ford flex fuels do this without issue.
@cwalters844 ай бұрын
@@GoatRopeGarage I know other platforms use inferred logic, I’m saying the 170 doesn’t infer from wideband readings it uses the sensor. So wouldn’t that cause copying the 170 settings into a non content sensor equipped car make it not function properly since those settings are used in conjunction with a sensor?

@@cwalters84 Look at a 170 stock tune, it specifically has a section for a sensorless FF logic and has it enabled, so it is using inferred logic. Works like a charm, running e-60, it is correcting FAR to the appropriate targets and applying timing changes. Runs strong, smells good. I actually don't see anything for a frequency to ethanol content scaling in the tune, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, table may just not be mapped.

@@GoatRopeGarage not sure if you’re familiar with tim barth and curt dusterhoff but they’re 2 of the big name tuners in the hellcat platform and they said that the part that says sensorless flex fuel is just labeled wrong in the editor and is something that needs ironed out on hp tuners end. But I’m glad to know the settings for running it inferred are working.
