This is why this guy (Rocky) is one of the best - if not the best - Spanish teacher on KZbin. He's giving us real-life teaching - not bombarding us with grammar that we'll forget in a month. Real-life scenerios stick in the mind much, much longer than grammar lessons do.

Yes please keep the Puerto Rican spanish coming! I’m Puerto Rican and never got to learn the Puerto Rican way so my dialect is all over so I lose confidence and don’t even try anymore! ❤thank you!

I love the PR accent and other places in the Caribbean’s as well. I’m half PR but never learned too much from my family. My father never spoke Spanish and I wasn’t able to learn enough from my grandparents aunts, and uncles. My wife is Colombian and most of her family doesn’t speak English so I was able to pick it up Over the years and still Improving. Their accent has def influenced the way I speak but can’t lie I wake up some days and want to start chopping it up with the Pr accent 😂. I only do it to mess around my wife enjoys it. Thanks for the content brother

Feel this brother, half PR half Mex here. I never picked it up and both my parents speak it. I wanna pick up the PR accent but I can’t learn from my mom cuz her PR accent and pronunciations changed since she’s married to a Mexican 🤣

I live in California and I know Mexicans pronounce beans a frijoles. I never heard habichuelas. As I’m learning Spanish, its good to learn the way other native Spanish people from other cultures say certain words. Gracias mi amigo.

I want to practice Spanish by ordering food at bodegas in New York and the like, but it takes a lot of effort sometimes to overcome the fear. Sometimes it's just cause I'm afraid I'll say something weird even if it is grammatically correct! This is helpful
