Enhancing natural browse with this product is a sure way of producing a healthier livestock and will definitely keep them coming back..in larger numbers. Foliar-feeding is probably the best way to promote healthier growth and will allow plants to absorb nutrients...minerals that are or almost non-existent in the soil. If I may add my personal comment..it will be more beneficial to spray this product at the time when plants are starting to anticipate rain and will absorb best at the first light of the day (or just before), rather than to evaporate as the day gets warmer. I am amazed how well this product has worked...no gimmicks..the results spoke for themselves!

Thanks for the comment and you are correct. Rain or dew will allow the product to be absorbed. That’s why the sticker and surfactant are there. To feed the plant overtime. Plant will use what it wants. That’s why we always say rain is a good thing. Can’t be washed off. Very good comment. 👊

When I first found out that baiting for deer was legal in Oregon, years ago, I decided to give it a try. I grabbed a bag of water softener salt for my first test/trial site. Only because I saw the bag on my way out of a hardware store one day and figured salt is salt and it was in a large bag and cheap. Long story short it WORKED! I chopped a bowl into the top of an old stump just off of a deer trail and poured a generous pile if salt into it. It rained for the next three or four days and I checked on the lick the next weekend. The deer had eaten part of the stump down one side and had eaten the dirt in a large circle about 4-5 feet in diameter and nearly a foot deep. The rain had washed the salt down thru the softest side of the old stump, partially rotted I would guess, and down into the dirt on that side. After that I began using the red mineral lick salt blocks available at feed stores. I found the best results were to locate an active game trail, then find a stump a short distances (just a few yards) off to one side. I would then use a length of rebar sharpened on one end and pound it into the top, or side near the top, of the stump, slide the block on to the rebar and bend it over so that the block couldn't be pulled off. Then I would pile brush in a semi-circle around the stump so that the deer and elk were forced to reach the lick by way of the game trail. I kept the lick site filled and active year round, checking it every two to three weekends and sitting in either a ground blind or tree stand set up near the lick overlooking the trail so that I could pattern the time the deer used it. During the hunting season I would invite friends to hunt with me and set them up in one of the blinds or tree stands and ask that they only shoot the larger buck which would usually come into the lick site after the other deer were either all there or most of them had left. With several sites maintained over a large area of the forest I was able to put all of my friends on a buck every year for more than 15 years running. I only ever shared the info about the salt lick with my best friend and even then I waited seven years before telling him. I preferred just letting my friends think I was "The Deer Whisperer". I even invited a professional hunter, that is he hunted game and wrote about it for a major hunting sports magazine so I considered him to be a "professional hunter". In one of his articles he said that the hardest deer to hunt, in his and many other hunters that he knew was the Blacktail deer of the coastal areas from northern California to SW Alaska. He said that they called them "The Ghosts of the Woods". I contacted him thru the magazine and offered him a swap hunt. I would take him on a hunt for Oregon coast Blacktail in return for a Montana elk hunt. Never told him how I put him on an 8 point buck, (that's an 8X8 or a sixteen pointer for those of you on the east side of the US), so quickly and efficiently. He dropped it dead in it's tracks with one shot of his smoke pole. Uh, that's a black powder muzzleloader gun for you non-hunters. He was very happy with his hunt and treated me to an epic elk hunt, with wall tents, a base camp and horses to get into the backcountry of the Rockies. A once in a lifetime dream hunt for me. I hunt public lands within 2hrs of Portland, Oregon and camp in a tent or even just sleep in my truck. I definitely got the better end of the deal. Oh, right, and he put me on an Imperial Elk which, again for you non-hunters, is an elk with 7 points on both antlers. Hunt and elk of a lifetime. My lord I just did a quick calculation and that was 32yrs ago. No wonder I'm feeling so old lately. Any hoot, I'm sure that the mineral lick still works the same, just keep it active and replenished year round and never, ever shoot an animal AT the lick site. Block the backside so it has to come down the trail and set up your shooting position down the trail from the lick. Good luck and good hunting! I can't get out anymore due to my disabilities so get one for me if you would. LOL😄🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌

The people that have silly comments are the folks that don’t understand how deer and other wildlife get nutrition. This product does beyond what I can even understand what it does. If people used it they would know. It’s the only micro nutrition company that’s straight micro nutrients with a sticker and surfactant added on the building process. Turning a solid into a liquid. Corn is not nutrition. Corn is a attractant and yes it does have its place. Great attractant for sure. 👊

That was amazing info. It's getting more hard out here in western Washington. People are strategically buying land surrounding public land to choak us out. I also like how you display your ads on the screen. Do you have a video on that? Have you done this technique on public hunting spots. It would probably have to be very strategically placed.

While I wouldn't endorse or criticize any given nutrient or fertilizer products, your video truly points out one of the fastest and very best ways to improve the carrying capacity and attractiveness of any land, which is to enhance the natural browse. Natural browse that is rich in the nutrients deer need will absolutely become preferred food. Deer will certainly travel to a property that has preferred food. From a land management standpoint, if only one thing can be done to a property to attract deer, improving the natural browse would be it. That said, doing just one thing isn't a miracle cure that will turn a mediocre property into a deer paradise. It takes a combination of many things to attract and hold deer on any property. In most areas, nearly all the natural browse that was sprayed and growing well in the spring and summer is gone in the late fall and winter when deer hunting season is actually open. Attracting deer in April is great. But will they still be there in December when the natural browse is dead or dormant? Or will they leave the property with only natural browse to go eat in someone's nice green winter food plot? Comprehensive land management involves so much more than just spraying natural browse and expecting every deer in the area to come running to your property. While what you are recommended is good to do, don't over sell it.
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors 5 жыл бұрын
Yes I know that. That’s why I’m the video explained it takes more then one thing. This is something you can when you can’t plant food plots. Even if the plants are dormant in the winter the nutrients are still on the woody browse when they transition to that. There’s no magical potion with anything. Natural browse is very very important and not all of it is palatable at the same time. What they eat today they might not eat a week from now. Thanks.

How do you know this Antler grow does anything? What proof do you have that this enhances the vegetation and your deer? Maybe i missed one of your videos, would you please educate me other than just saying use antler grow?
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors 4 жыл бұрын
Mike Henthorn you definitely missed it. This has been tested for 20 years through plant tissue analysis. Before and after. Sprayed plants have triple the mineral content in them and digestible proteins go up as well. I spend way to much time traveling just to spray for it not to do anything. And no I don’t get paid to spray I actually loose money from traveling so much lol. But I do it because it works. Cattle farmers use it as well and they see major weight gains on cattle. Orange groves in Florida use it as well as all the major palmetto Berry growers. I can go on for days. Unfortunately I can’t post a picture here because it’s not a option but you can email me and I can send you data before and after that shows numbers. Numbers don’t lie. You can also go on Facebook and look for it or on the antler grow web page. Heck you can even call them and talk to Jeff he will be more then glad to send you data with numbers showing it works. Hope that helps.

I hunt on a very small property beside of a lake. I think one of the problems I have is that my family also rides four wheelers on the property including the spot I hunt in. I rarely see bucks on the cam and when I do it is usually late at night. I’m am planning on planting a plot this summer which should help. Do you have any other suggestions? Anything that would bring in bucks from surrounding areas?
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors 4 жыл бұрын
Do what I mentioned in the video. Planting a plot is great but if the atv action continues you’ll still have the same result. If you stop the atv pressure and pressure in general you will be better off.
@stevensquires5329
@stevensquires5329 Жыл бұрын
To play the devils advocate if the atv activity is high why would deer not get used to it. A lot of folks advocate to be picked up from stands in four wheelers. As long as you are never shooting from four wheelers danger will not be associated. And it Def helps mask your human presence if gas fumes are floating around. I'm just saying I really can see it both ways and I don't ride of my 25 acres. I think doe would be far less bothered by it than a buck. Just heard a lot of conflicting advice from well known folks.

That would be correct they can jump high. But they are not a good judge of depth. So if you have 1 outside fence and 1 inside fence about 3 ft apart they won’t jump it. They are not good at that. That’s what we use to protect soy beans and areas you don’t want them in. Dual perimeter fences

Antler grow is legal there. You can plant buck wheat and clovers. That’s a decent size area. What I would do is plant buck wheat thick in the late spring. That will help improve the soil and add organic matter. Then in last summer come back in and disc it under and plant a mix of winter wheat and a mix of brassicas. Of course always do a soil test first that way your not wasting your time and money.

Go to a hydroponic store. you can get a good 3 part fertilizer for 1/3 the cost (NPK). This product looks like General Hydroponics MicroGrow... (basic micro nutrients.). Gotta love Capitalism !

Dude you are working to hard. I just pour corn and wait. I've shot four this year with my bow from the ultimate deer stand. My bedroom window. Say what you want, but I still feel the freezer for my family cuzzz!!!!

Lol. Corn is great for attraction no questions asked for short term but does nothing for growing deer. If the corn is gone so is the deer. Green and growing plants is what makes deer healthier and grows them and it’s there year round. If you want to just throw some corn out and hunt over it that’s fine I don’t care what you do. But the purpose of the video is far from dumping stuff on the ground. Huge difference

@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors I was referring to dumping corn as bait. Antler grow sounds like a good product to help populations

Lol I love this comment. First off it’s 79 dollars a gallon and that gallon covers 5 acres that last months. Show me something else that does that? You can’t. People buy 10 bags of corn and dump it out and it does nothing for wildlife and it’s sometimes 10 plus a bag. I don’t care if you buy it or not but to say it’s expensive is just not accurate. At least that’s what I take from your comment!

I can get a 100 lb bag of corn that lasts me months and only costs 10$ and i like the concept of spraying this stuff on plants and they absorb it and the deer eat the plant but I’m only 14 and don’t have the money to go out and buy this stuff I’ll wait till I have a job then give a try maybe

Well there you go. Corn isn’t benefiting anything. Good for attraction but nothing else. Beside a lot of states it’s illegal to bait. Antler grow is legal in all states where baiting is illegal. Good luck happy new year!

It’s not baiting if you put corn out before season and have it out before it starts and what about mineral blocks

Not sure who’s spraying chemicals? That same mineral you waste dumping on the ground is in this bottle minus all the fillers, flavors and junk.

Lol. Corn is not nutrition. Yes corn is candy to deer just like cake is to us! Deer get nutrition through green and growing plants. Back bone to all healthy deer herds is natural browse. Green and growing man, green and growing.
