Hey Jermaine, I enjoy ur content, thanks! Now I’m about to get a bass, my first… however, I was wondering in the future… way down in the future… are there “certain pedals” that can be used when playing gospel music?

You can tell he just put those strings on. It got that zing.

@@JermaineMorganBass sounds good though. I always wash and dry my hands before for I play to make my strings last longer. Keeps the oil transfer from skin to strings to a minimum.

Huh, I never thought about the connection between self taught and playing in church. I am about to make a video on pentatonic blues licks and the thumbnail pic of your video caught my eye. I’ll be around, nice video. ✌🏽

5 string basses look confusing for most people in teaching videos. Not the best tool for that job.
@EJShaw-x5q7 ай бұрын
And that would be a matter of preference. Once you’ve played 5 and 6 string basses, it won’t matter which you pick up. I play all 3. So… it all makes sense.

@@7krunch77 you just dont get it do u,? I'll bet ur one of those type that'll never admit ur wrong about something, go play ur 5 string while the rest of us REAL bassists play our 4 string and hold down the rhythm, like we should
