Any idea on how much of the nodes gets shared between Maya and 3dMax? I want to try this

if using arnold in 3ds max then it's same, for other engines use 3ds max Fresnel/falloff shader

@@SASTuts yeah surelly for arnold, now seems to be way easier to find information related to maya than to 3dsmax... many people is too used already to Vray to consider it. Thanks, will try, I considered the falloff way but this one looks better.

Adding transmission defeats the purpose of the hologram because if there was an object behind that skull it would look distorted by the transmission. Holograms don't distort the object behind if you see through it.
