To learn how to melt chocolate see or copy the link below
• Learn the correct way ...
Ingredients
Melted chocolate
Any edible colours of your choice
Edible golden /silver dust
You also will need some parchment or butter paper.
Some clothes pegs .
Fold the butter paper as demonstrated. And spread 2 tblspns of some warm chocolate starting from the centre. Try and make an oval shape. Fold the paper from one side and secure with clothes pegs. Now do the same thing on the other side but make it more tighter. Pls see the video. Difficult to explain. Easier to watch ;)
Freeze for about 5 mins. Remove the chocolate sail from the butter paper very very carefully if it breaks remelt the chocolate and start again. After a few tries it will be easy. Trust me.
You can use dark , milk or white chocolate. You can colour the white chocolate with food colour ( just drop) or gel colours. You may also dust the chocolate sails with gold / silver dust too.

If u can get oil or gel based colours pls use those. I used liquid food colours just a drop or 2 . It’s a trick I’ve learnt so sharing. If the chocolate gets a bit hard that means you have put too much colour. Difficult to fix but can try n put a lil bit of oil n mix well.

Can this be used in hot weather areas. My chocolate decorations doesn't Stay hard unless I keep in ac room. Is there a way to use in room temperature in hot areas or chocolate decorations isn't for such weathers?

If the decorations are not made with the correct thickness they do tend to melt in the warm weather May I know which Chocolate r u using. I hope u r not adding anything to the melted chocolate.

@@ManjuSethia_SCS so sorry I didn't know you replied. I'm using caters ritzbury chocolate mostly (compound). I don't add anything. It's stays hard in the AC room for days, but melts within a few mins if I take out of the cold room. My kitchen is really hot it's really difficult to work with things like whipping cream also.

Freeze the cake for some time n then use the dust. Or you can use a spray gun if u want to do the entire cake

It’s a trick I learnt . If u use just a drop or two the chocolate doesn’t seize or get hard.

No that's fine. Did u add anything like liquid in the chocolate. If not then try making the shard a bit thicker . If it's too thin it will break.
