Starbucks Lemon Loaf Cake - Easy copycat Recipe!
I'm excited to share my take on one of Starbucks' most beloved treats: the Lemon Loaf Cake. With its moist, citrus-infused crumb and tangy lemon glaze, this copycat recipe brings the iconic Starbucks flavour right to your kitchen🙂 - YOU'LL LOVE IT!
STARBUCKS LEMON LOAF CAKE
Ingredients:
1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
3 eggs
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
3/4 cup of greek yogurt / or sour cream
3 tablespoons lemon juice
zest of 3 large lemons
1 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon extract (if you have but not necessary)
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
GLAZE:
1-1/4 cup icing sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 tablespoon milk
BAKE AT 350F for 45-50 minutes (ovens vary) check for doneness - Cool loaf completely when baked and spread glaze over. Chill and serve
