You are the best tutor I have ever come across. Your gentle kind encouraging voice and your willingness to share all your knowledge is a rare gift. I have tried to join your patreon channel but my iPad is an old iPad 2 which doesn't support Patreon. I am now going to see if my laptop will support it. Fingers crossed! Thank you for your wonderful KZbin videos, they have brought me back to graphite drawing which I used to do when I was a teenager (I'm 72 now!). My very best wishes. Geraldine.

What a beautiful painting! I was a bit surprised at the end after you pull the tape off and there was a still shot of the painting the building in the shade on the left went from a bluish to a yellowish. I also would like to know what pencil you used for the outlining before you painted it. Thank you, Linda
@smoothie77drawingpainting5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Linda, I usEd a combination of pencils , mainly HB and 2B

Love your channel, do you ever use a workable fixative before applying the watercolors and if so do you recommend any particular brands.

After completing the graphite drawing, do you go straight in and start with water colours?

I think the white balance in your video has been set incorrectly. This would explain why the painting looks much more blue/purple when you're painting but more natural when you show a still image of it at the end.
