Love every painting I have seen !Learned a lot from you and I been painting a long time!yThats what I love !Learn something always!That is the beauty of painting!There was a lady I followed a long time ago!She was a tole pain! Her name was Pricilla Hauser! I heard her say once With brush in hand my mind empties of its sorrow and I can see the beauty!Im 74 and still feel that way!I always signed my work and was asked why?My answer was someday someone will see it and say I knew that old lady!It happened.Friend redoing a house to rent called and said I think I found something you painted and it was!I was a hairdresser and sold some work in the shop! Turns out it was one of my customers!I remember doing it! I think because I remember trying to mix a flesh tone!

Thank you for your explanations of your methods. I often pause they video to do a little at a time what you explain. But I have found another way to do this. I pause and then snap a picture and then print it out on my printer. I do this so I can kind of do my own thing with photo of what you have done. This helps me more.

Michelle you are the best ! I painted the chickadee last night. I was a little frustrated because my canvas wasn’t primed so it was absorbing the paint quickly and the grain in the canvas was causing me issues. So lesson learned. Lovely painting! I was mystified seeing the title and bird because I’ve never seen a chickadee like that in life or a bird book. Finally found it as a “Blue Tit” in British bird sites. Thanks for introducing me to a beautiful kind of bird! Now I can watch your video in peace. :)

As usual, another great painting. I was painting the one that you did with the geese flying out of the pond/lake and just broke into laughter with how terrible I was doing. I remember when I would teach guitar to a student how frustrated they would be because they couldn't play like me, which I told them it takes time and lots of practice. Same goes here trying to emulate what you are doing. By the way, I notice that you only use the same size brushes. If you need more brushes, I will gladly buy you some additional brushes! lol Have you ever used fan brushes or a deer foot brush?

Hi Dawn👋🏻 It's a Carolina chickadee or Blue tit. We mostly get the darker ones, Coal tit, like you described up here in Canada. Chickadees come in the blue, yellow, darker grey, and browns. 😁
