Actually, gun isn't a projectile, it actually is the longest range disjoint hitbox in the game which means you can force approaches since you can't reflect it

this guide made me drop joker. i wanted to play him but hes to complicated. im 32 now and my fingers cant keep up with that movement he requires. currently im playing pyra and hero and pyra only, they are slow and effective. combos here and there and quick movement there, my fingers just can not deal with that anymore and my reflexes also can not. so sadly, goodbye joker

I really feel like he should only build up to Arsen if he uses his rebel guard. Building the gauge from taking damage is dumb. His tools in neutral are strong enough that he doesn't require a comeback mechanic cause now you have a raging Arsen? Explain the logic there.

Get better in the matchup and you will see that Joker building gauge from taking damage makes sense. Base Joker is not a big threat.

You don't think he has enough mobility and tools that using the guard at the right time,( and tanking the damage then to note your first point) is a fair way to unleash Arsen? He might not have alot of killing power without him but that's fine you learn how to use the guard effectively and are rewarded with Arsen. Being rewarded for getting beat up doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe its bc I don't know anything about Persona but as a fighting game character it seems to be dumb that you can be rewarded for losing in addition having the option of accelerating it with the guard

Iggy Jiggy Persona is about the Personas in the same way as Pokemon is about the Pokemon. The difference is in Persona the “trainer” also fights along the Persona. If the only way to activate Arsene was through rebel guarding, you’d almost never see him because it’s very hard to guard without getting punished. And that would just be bad because it’d be like having a Pokémon character where most of the fight is just the trainer and no Pokémon. Fans of the series aren’t there to look at the trainer, they’re there to look at pikachu or charizard or whatever. Likewise fans of persona are there to see Arsene not just Joker.
