Not to take away from your very informative video, but for people interested in getting into these kind of card games, I highly caution/recommend against it. These card games of specific series have short lives and end up dying out in only a few years max. The biggest problem becomes the diversity and character pool of these games. Power creep comes in fast, and the game quickly runs out of new ideas. Cards and sets become boring and confusing - i.e. they are just the same characters reprinted over and over and their names will be Deku - smiling, deku - crying, deku - flying - etc etc. Use this as a strong cautionary tale from someone who got into playing the dragon ball card game. You spend a lot of money on the set for content and gameplay to get boring fast. More releases just killed old sets fast.
@TysHouseofCards2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your concern but what you may not realize is that MHA ccg is part of a bigger universe. The engine it uses comes from a game that’s been a live and still kicking for over 13 years. The company that’s also behind it focuses on the community. Dragon ball is through bandai who imo doesn’t care too much about community from my experience. Power creep doesn’t effect old sets at all in this game. If you haven’t researched or checked out the back story of this game I’d strongly advise you do. This game is not like any other game you’ve played my friend. Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video.

@@TysHouseofCards Again, not to take away from your video, because I always appreciate people taking the time to make these how to play videos, and i was in no way criticizing you for liking or playing the game. Twas just my - cautionary tale - of experiencing card games like this in the past. I was unaware that it was part of another card set. I was misinformed and believed that it was only MHA and that you could only play MHA versus MHA stuff. And yes, i very much agree with you, bandai has been absolutely terrible for the community with the dragon ball card game. Thanks for the response. Currently there is a format where you only play MHA, but there is plans in the future to combined titles of other games/animes as well. It really is a fantastic game.
