Learn How To Read COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURAL Drawings

I have an exam in 2 days on drawings class in where I need to be able to navigate through these plans fast and extract information and these videos are gold. Thank you. Keep on posting and I'll keep on watching. I really like the way to break things down into detail without assuming we already know it. Some professors in University don't do that, which is crazy sometimes.

On screen takeoff is what I've mainly used, it's clunky and old but decent. You still have to transfer that into another software such as Destini for estimating. I actually reached out to On Screen for a singke purchase copy or a demo copy to make a video and the their customer service was TERRIBLE. So bad I'm considering research into a different one

Thanks for the feedback and great question! I'd like to same yes to memorizing each detail but it's unrealistic on large projects that have hundreds of pages and details. It never hurts to know more - but I see most issues come up when people assume to know. As long as you are looking at drawing details far enough in advance to coordinate them properly, you'll be good!
