Say it in Spanish: I eat, I lunch, I breakfast, I dinner, I brunch but I have dessert. Yo como, desayuno, almuerzo, ceno y como postre. In English, eating habits are expressed with nouns. In Spanish, eating habits are expressed with verbs, yes, full action verbs. Learning these verbs will help you avoid starving when you are on vacation and would like to order food in Spanish, it will improve your Spanish in general, and will enable you to be closer to a culture in which you are interested in already. Learning these Spanish verbs will not only improve your Spanish vocabulary but also will teach you to think and speak as a Spanish native speaker does. If you would like to speak as a native speaker this video will help you a lot. Why? Well, because Ana, teaches you how to conjugate Spanish verbs, how to express yourself in Spanish, when to use these food goody verbs. Also Ana will teach you what the difference is between "Yo desayuno" & "Yo almuerzo" -- "I have breakfast" and "I have brunch/lunch". In Spanish, the difference between these two verbs is very important because if you are only having coffee and bread you will name it a "desayuno" but if you are having enchiladas or tacos or sopes or burritos or whatever Mexican fat delight comes to your imagination, you would call this "almuerzo". See, you can just keep reading this description about my Spanish class or you can watch my video and learn these Spanish verbs in Spanish, and hear the Spanish pronunciation, with better results :)
