Awesome to hear that Venus-zu1so ! That’s awesome to hear that you want to become pro one day !! But just remember I always try to focus on skateboarding for the love of it. There’s always money and getting sponsors but if you do it because you’re passionate about it then the money and sponsors will come ! It takes a lot of hard work to get to the sponsors! It takes time and dedication but definitely keep it as a goal and that would be my advice. Like i still believe I could get sponsored but it’s not my main goal with skateboarding. What hardness of shells do you have I have the exact same type of roads in my town an my skateboard would always get caught really bad on the rocks

That’s cool damellikeschocomint8674. And doing frontside turns going left is tricky because you are kinda blind to the turn. If you look over your front left shoulder and point your arm in the direction you’re going could help. Also doing stationary frontside kickturns on a piece of carpet helps. Hey I actually made a video about how to U turn on a skateboard. Check it out kzbin.infowMT5oJj-rmk?feature=share When you do a backside carving U turn on a skateboard make sure you have a wide stance with your feet over the wheels. Start the U turn by pressing on your toes and leaning towards the inner part of the U turn. Make a rainbow shaped turn and bend your knees, hold that pressure on your toes as you loop around exceuting the backside U turn. And after finishing the U turn go back to being centered on the skateboard in your riding stance, Frontside U turn carves are tricky because you can't see behind your back so you have to open your front shoulder and look behind it as you press on your heels and hold the pressure leaning towards your back. Totally understandable 01D3NDAYGAM3R 🤛🛹, that is a problem for a lot of people. The key is to learn how to push and when you’re pushing your shoulders are perpendicular to the skateboard. And then you need to learn how to push and get your back foot on the tail of the skateboard and pivot your front foot perpendicular to the skateboard and at this point your shoulders will be straight with the skateboard (riding stance). And then you have to learn how to get back to pushing from riding stance. So you pivot your front foot back straight and then you can bring your back foot off the tail as your turn you shoulders back to being perpendicular and you’re now going back to pushing from riding. It takes some time to get use to this but with practice and trying it not moving on a piece of carpet will really help. That’s okay! The same principles apply to a penny board but the board is smaller so it will take more balance because there less surface area to stand on the board.
