Imagine your anxiety and symptoms as a friend who's been through a lot. When a friend is hurting, you're there to comfort them, right? We're going to do something similar today.
Instead of pushing away or ignoring the anxiety symptoms, we're going to meet it with kindness and understanding. This might sound counterintuitive, but it's a powerful way to reduce the stress that anxiety can cause. By acknowledging and accepting, we can release the tension and anxiety.
We can create a sense of peace and calm. You can even use this technique when you are struggling with chronic pain.
