@daninimes9958
@daninimes9958 6 жыл бұрын
The general way to classify a verb (in dictionary form), is by looking at the ending syllable for Group1 they end in the "u-line" such as u, su, mu, bu, ru etc. For Group2, they end in either ~iru or ~eru. And for Group3, they end in ~suru except for the verb kuru(come). I say general rule because they are still exceptions to this, and you just have to memorize them. As you can see, there are verbs that end in ~ru that are in Group1 and some are in Group2, the way to know is to look at the Kanji, for example (売る/うる/uru/to sell) the kanji is followed by ru right away so this is Group1. Another example is the verb (変える/かえる/kaeru/to change), here there is an extra syllable in between the kanji and the ru syllable so this one belongs to Group2.

@カペラマヌエル
@カペラマヌエル 4 жыл бұрын
Koto means "thing","matter" - not a physical thing, more like a "situation" (like when you say "the thing is... I was working very hard at that time"). In this grammar it is used to nominalize the verb: shashin wo toru = I'm taking pictures/I will take pictures shashin wo toru koto = (the thing of/the act of) taking pictures (is...) I hope this is helpful.

Dekinakatta or dekunakatta ?
@xXSillyGooseXx
@xXSillyGooseXx 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, it’s dekinakatta, I’ll try to explain. The polite form is “dekimasu”. Take off “masu” to get “deki. Add “nai” to make the sentence negative. (So far it’s “dekinai” - “can not”.) Remove “i”, then add “katta” to show it is past tense. (“Dekinakatta” - “could not” or “was not able to”) I think you were confused with adjectives - the rule for adjectives is to remove “i” and add “kunakatta” to say “was not [adjective]”. It doesn’t work here, as “dekimasu” is a verb. Hope that helps!
