Hi Ableton, I have a request please, midi clips which transpose with the note being played on the keyboard. An arpeggiator mode in midi clips basically. It would be an awesome feature to have for live sessions. Or if this is possible with Max for live, let me know, I'd like to upgrade from standard if this is possible with Max. Do reply

Hi Vishesh, You can do something similar using Simpler, but with audio clips. You could potentially record your MIDI clip into audio, then put the resulting audio clip into Simpler which would let you play it back with different pitches. There may also be a Max device that will do what you're looking for, but you'll need to find that on your own, as most are user made. Guys hi! How do you open Max 4 Live in tidy native windows with native graphics? I have the latest Ableton Live Suite 10 and all of my Max devices use their own graphics...

honestly i thought max 8 and live 10 would at long last allow for a greater surface to display m4l devices interface, like it does for the Spectrum audio fx ; or that you could edit devices form ableton interface, without needing those quirky in-n-outs between the Max app and the Live app. It doesn't and that's a bummer :/

Max for Live is only integrated with Ableton Live 10 Suite. If you upgrade to Live Standard you can purchase Max for Live on the Ableton website and use it in Live
