VERSION 0.1 is less buggy..0.2 is at this time is quite useless, but have nod based compositing feature with good promise when more stable. a great software, dev team have to be supported.

Olive 0.1 is perfect for me and it feels like Premiere Pro. 0.2 however.. crashes after few minutes and features are limited.

when you add text and want the text to have shadow, it used have a box for it you can tick then change the shadow angle, color, etc. How can you do it in this newer version??

My be i am wrong. But i am saying , what i felt while using __Olive__ I am using Olive since "early 2020". No undoubtedly this is a good and non demanding (minimum system requirements) software. But it seems that the developers of Olive are very careless and lazy. I must say, when they were making this software, they were in hurry and they winded up their work somehow. This is true that even today in the market, perfect video editing software are very demanding (very high system requirements) and at the same time, very unfriendly UEI So i can say Olive is very good (for working) . ____BUT____ very sad to say i found some cons in it:- 1:- Olive can stop any time in the middle of your work. (The most unreliable) 2:- You will not find all plugins listed well. In some KZbin - Tutorials of olive people are using something like:- "FreiOir" option / plugin. (for color correction) . Only they knows from where "FreiOir" appeared in their plugins list. You won't be able to fine for using. 3:- Further version ""Olive 0.2"" is still acting like a kid. After opening it, where ever you you will click to open (any option), massage will come on screen ""This option is not available / not in working condition yet "" Verdict:- Olive could be the best. But only if the developers of Olive will take sincere care of it.
