Nice guide, but I really have to call out the point about st. mp AA. You can ALWAYS combo from st. mp AA, one hit or two hit, you just have to alter your route. If one hit, you do j. mk, st. mp, chicken. If 2 hits, you do j. fp (2nd hit only), st. mp, chicken. St. mp is THE anti air to master with Oro, only to be used by MEDIUM dp (the one with Air invincibility, light is only throw invincible) if needed after a fireball for example, or cr. fp if they are too far away for cr. fp to hit. Mastering st. mp is required to play Oro in my opinion. It's too important to make his game work.

@@OneTimeHero it's all good. There's so many variations beyond what I posted, that's just the "home base" routes for midscreen. In the corner there's other routes, and if they are too far behind your head when your st. Mp lands, you need to just do f. Mp xx tatsu. He has MANY variations to master with that AA, I've been spending hours labbing/mastering them. It's really rewarding, but to play him effectively I think you need some basic conversions with st. Mp

Oro is fun still learning with him though he is more of a challenging one but when mastered unstoppable.

Watched longer guides, but have had trouble w/him in this game (tried VT1 & 2). Wow, you're good. Can't even keep up w/what you're doing if you hit MK. Maybe QCB LK or KK if you have meter. First time seeing the cMP>dash VT combo. That last thing w/Vega- impressive. No clue how that works. Seems you can combo off VS1 w/something. But not sure if VS2 is better. Fun vid.

I like VS1 more because it controls space with Oro so he can get in his better ranges. VS2 is good for combos and even doing some tricks where you vskill2, nothing, then throw them. Appreciate the feedback on the vids! Working on more.

unfortunately my guides assume you have likely seen someone else's combo or normals overview or you've tried the trials. I will work on a section in separate videos for very beginner stages. That said, please check out the whole Playlist as I think you'll like the advice and tactics unveiled for you.

Another good and easy tengu combo is st. mk into qcb. mk x100. It’s kinda hard to time but practice makes perfect.
