Hey welcome to Tekken, it may seem very intimidating at first cause every 2nd player you fight is levels way above but don't worry about that. Everyone always just wants to be good and are quick to complain that the game is too hard, but often forget that the fun in playing "fighting games" is also the learning process. For example I like to take it real slow, currently I'm learning to play Jun and only learn a few moves each day (some times every other day). In matches I limit myself only to those moves (+ some universal stuff like rage, grabs...) and try figure out in what situations those moves are applicable (for frame traps, for punish, for poking, counter hit state...) and mainly focus on getting my movement and fundamentals tight before worrying too much about combos. Funny that the moves I choose are also randomly chosen xDD Weird way of learning a character I guess but that's fun for me. Anyways since you already come from another fighting game I assume you know your stuff. However, if someone completely new is reading this I hope you are patient and just enjoy the art of getting your ass kicked xDD Joking, just take your time and try make the "fun" part not winning games but how you develop yourself into a better Tekken player (wins come naturally after that).

try the back down back back then loop back down back back down nonstop to reach a fast korean back dash some controllers have and inch or 2 of hight in dpad so u can only do the back down back with back direction its like a rythmic instument

the waive dash is sure a forward hadouken motion but what makes tricky is the tap forward then qcircle and repeat you can go faster on as humanly as possible it took me like a year to master it left side its diffrent for everyone but u must find a rythme that works for you and your thumb shape . but i noticed too many pros are using dbutton a seperated directions for the dual shock 4 its looks insane basically you can turn your controler into a keyboard directions buttons dpad
