hey just a question so if I already know a good amount of C how much will that help me learn roblox scripting compared to people who are completely new to programming/programming languages?

I think it can help a lot! There aren't many concepts in Lua that are difficult to understand when coming from a lower leveled programming language. The other component to consider as well is making a Roblox game also means learning to interface with Roblox's APIs and libraries (they have great documentation on the wiki).
