I really enjoy watching the training vlog style videos! You also get to see how the trainee reacts and thinks about situations, which makes it very relatable and fun to watch. Definitely looking forward to seeing more of these!

I like this kind of vloggs/clips. Especially when you take an average player, not a pro. Many of us can easily relate to the player, there for learn more I think. Watching an professional player grinding the 🪓 Well fun, but average players can’t relate. My opinion.

I agree with you. Also fun that his questions are my questions. I can also relate to him not being patient at all even when advised to do so

Hi Sandy, I find it great, honestly. The 1 thing you could still include at the end of the video, maybe, is a slow-mo before/after (left/right) to highlight the takeaways of the lesson. Like in this case for instance, a rapid chiquita initially, which does not gain time, and at the end a slower chiquita, with a better move to the net. What d'you think of it? Best regards from the french riviera

Love the format. Great to see live action, and feels more personal. The casual, off-court footage is good too. I'd enjoy seeing more behind-the-scenes stuff as well, like Spanish coach Manu Martin does so effectively in his videos.

Yep, more of these please. Really good to see some one-on-one coaching, and more balls being hit. One thing I struggle with is playing indoors. I played my first 20 something matches all outdoors. When I tried to play indoors, I found that there was so much going on with noise, echo, lights, busy backgrounds, ceilings etc.. that it detracted from my game. I noticed the echo in this video too. I though it was good practice for indoor venues to install sound deadening material.
@ThePadelSchool3 жыл бұрын
Interesting you say that - players going the other way often say the same thing! Distraction of the sun, wind, reflections on cars etc...I think both changes just require a little practice!

It looks so easy, big margin but you still manage to move your opponent. Lobs and chiquita is something I often practice and feel I'm mastering. But what as a eye opener for me is the importance of "hard" base shots and changing the ball speed. If I only use lobs and chiquita I will most likely trying to hit a to difficult ball even if I think I can hit a chiquita. Thanks for a good video AGAIN!

That's a great video and format!! I can totally relate with your final statement about applying in the games what you learned in the lessons. I keep just switching to "tennis mode" following my "muscles memory". I feel like I am not able to be calm down and think about what to do, because of the stress of a point that counts

Have only been playing for 3-4 months now and really struggling on those balls coming off the backwall in regards of not just "hit and hope to regain some control". Will try to incorperate some of what I learned here in my next games. Great lesson format, and I like the interactions between you two - good job all.

he makes the same errors i do, slices the ball nearly every time, never flat or top spin which can be useful to get it down to opponents feet and he hits the ball quite upright, needs to bend his knees more and use less arms, more body..... IMO as i often do the same things hah
