Learned a lot from your videos. It has actually made painting easier/simpler for me. That’s because of my eyesight getting worse, so working with washes of different kinds makes a difference. Have even been trying “grimdark” on union soldiers for ACW, with quite a good result. Painting the soldier with GWs contrast paint and then a black/brown oil wash and some q-tip dabbing with white spirit. :)

Hey, mate. Just started following you. I've been a normal acrylic painter for years, but you are inspiring me to do my Grey Knights in this style. I know you've already moved on from this series. However, what makes grimdark so grim (and dark) is the juxtapositions you can create with stories. Sisters of Battle - seemingly innocent purists in this harsh world is a great story. That's why I'd love to see you do St. Celestine in this style.

good day sir. I love the video and checked out your website and a lot of your videos. Now I am super hyped to try this out, cause I've been struggling with the gw style of painting a lot and honestly, your minis look way cooler and all the tecniques look more than doable. The minis look pretty much like the artwork in the old rulebooks and stuff. Really great man. Now I've been collecting Black Templars Space Marines for a while now, and I'd just LOVE it, if you did a tutorial on the Champion of the Emperor, cause it's my favourite GW mini by far and I'd like to repaint mine in grim dark style. I do have an airbrush (although it's not a super great one, It'll do) and all the thinner/mediums/alcohol stuff I might need. Except for paints (where I'd just like to use exactly yours from a possible tutorial video) do I need anything else specifically?

Way to excited to try this out. Do washes made of paint act the same as washes made of inks? Or is it just inks that lend themselves to coming off with alcohol (in an artistically appealing way, like do paint washes clump up or something) As far as models anything eldar or dark eldar, as both are slick but would look cool darkened up. Striking scorpions or banshees My favorite miniatures that you’ve done are the troops with a simple pallet that gets crazy interesting with mottling and different washes

Pretty cool, I really enjoy your fundamentals series, since it tells me the basic knowledge which I then can apply to my models depending on the model. And I do not need to watch all your videos to know which techniques are available to me. So I really like that they are not model-centric. Zatcasagoon. Can you do a grimdark "Destroyers" infantary? The models that really gave the middle finger to the Geneva Convention ethic? They're the ones who played with caustic chem-munitions, poison gases, and radioactive weapons. They sound grimdark enough.

How did you break up the blood on lady olynder's dress? Was it something like what you did at the end?

You mentioned in the videos that if your enamel washes are fully cured you can't reactivate them with spirits so you can layer them, so if I'm trying to batch paint some miniatures with the streaking grime, How long is the working time between when I spray on the streaking grime with an airbrush and when it is so cured that I can't do the mineral spirits subtractive highlight dabbing technique?

Do you know if citadel contrast paints would work the same way as a wash for the reduction technique?

I love this grimdark look. The box cover lookings are not authentic imo. I mean you hear "there s only war in the 41st" century". Man your Armour and stuff looks pretty clean for always beeing at war lol. Thank you very much for your videos. Changed the way of how I paint my terrain and minis.

Hey could you look at doing a Grimdark style model that is mostly flesh tones. I’m struggling to find how to paint in your style large flesh models. Do you have any suggestions?
