Hearing about results from changing color was very educational. I would love to learn more about what kinds of bottom features/structure you're targeting with that jig!

Hey bud, why r u using this long rods 4 boat 🚢 fishing? Is this a so-called american thing? 🤔 In Europe we prefer verry short n' flexible rods 4 boat fishing in Sweden, Norway or even Finland. I don't want to criticize with my question, I just want to understand your fishing strategy. Thank you in advance for your answer ❤

It’s good for leverage and fish fighting to match up the rod and power to the size of lure used and size of fish targeted

I really need to learn my electronics better and break down the lakes around me. And also get a lvs34 right now I have the 32 but it’s definitely not as clear.

A jig is one of those baits I have not figured out how to gain confidence in. Never can find the right situation or jig for these grassy wisconsin lakes where the whole bottom is either muck or vegetation
@JoeHollandFishing20 күн бұрын
yeah muck bottom makes it tough, Bladed jig or swim jig much better there than the football head I was throwing.

Those big ones are super old like 15-20 years old probably have a lot of mercury in the meat. I consider them a trophy at that size and throw them back there are plenty of small ones to eat more delicate
