I did use the Loomis method for a long time and it works, but it takes a lot of time you’re not drawing the head quickly. Once you get used to it. I think you should learn how to draw it intuitively because there’s too many steps drawing the sphere and then dividing it out. Experience artist already known from muscle memory, skipping the steps because they can draw it intuitively.

>maybe you want to draw cute anime noses He's right. You will be able to if you draw these angular realistic noses for practice. Ever noticed those diamond shading or highlight patterns on the front of the nose? Sometimes it goes all underneath the nostrils too? That's exactly the stylized version of the nose on the far right at 4:17 is.

First program in the video is Krita. I have not yet watched the rest ...but I'm in the process of doing that.

i feel like this is a good video but the advice and form of the video is all over the place if that makes sense. There isn't a huge "this is why" reason on why stuff is decided on, just a singular reason- which is fine and still valid advice. But it is rather on the simpler side of why the youtuber believed the way they learned was rather helpful. Kinda still enjoyable in that aspect to see what he felt was a technique to come onto just on his side of experience
